Hey ladies! It's been a while since I saw a checkin for us, things are busy around here!

Any inside babies left? Those with outside babies, how are things going?

So I really need to get on a regular computer and fix my siggy before I become one of those posters who have been KU for 100 weeks, lol. Oh, and share my birth story before I forget it!

I don't even know if I posted this here yet but we are now Team Blue! Joseph Douglas(Doug) was born 6-16 at 7lb 10oz. Labor was pretty quick, delivery was a bit of a struggle for both of us, he had to spend some time in the nursery with an IV, but we are both doing great now. D is 11 days old now, crazy to think about how it's going too fast already. He has regained all the weight he lost after birth and then some! This makes me feel better about breast feeding, I was so worried he wasn't getting enough but as long as he's gaining I will try not to stress about it. We have had a lot of family visiting in the last 2 weeks but they are all leaving tomorrow and I am hoping to settle into more of a "normal" routine. I love having them around but I'd like to be able to figure out this whole newborn care routine!

I need to remember the snacks in the diaper bag!! That is the one thing I have noticed in the last 2 weeks, I always forget to eat!

I am currently in L&D so I still have an inside baby but not for much longer. After 8 days past by EDD we finally decided to induce, which is probably good considering I haven't dilated anymore in the last 2 weeks. So I am just laying here with cevradil inserted and waiting for things to really get started.

I've had an outside baby for a week and a half now & I still can't believe it & have been crying everyday because I love her so much. I had a failed induction at 42 weeks so ended up with a c-section but recovery hasn't been too awful. Baby is unpredictable, sleeps a couple hours at a time overnight but spent most of yesterday crying. I hope that isn't going to be a habit!

I love love love reading everyone's updates! Can you believe after all we've been through were finally holding our babies?!

Today the girls are one month old. I can't believe it. Every day is the same but also something new. Their hair is getting a little longer, their tummies a little chubbier, their eyes a little lighter... it's nuts. I just want time to slow down!

I am so in love with these girls it's insane. Hubby and I are doing great and even on the rough nights we're still just so damn grateful to be here. There are times we feel completely overwhelmed, but those moments are getting shorter. Maybe we're just getting better? Haha who knows.

I can see why people have lots of babies. They're addicting! Lol!

Hey ladies! I have a 10 day old outside baby now. Hard to believe. So far things are good. I was expecting the sleep deprivation, BFing pain and poopy diapers. I was not expecting the recovery from a vag birth to be soooo slow. I still have heavy bright red bleeding which I was told is somewhat abnormal but I am not to the point of hemmorage. I have barely been doing anything and I am getting frustrated. Thought I would at least be able to go on a walk by now. On a more positive note, thanks to my extreme swelling I lost 34 lbs already. I am still a little swollen but there is major improvement. Oh and I have the cutest bebe evaaar!

@whoberry one of the most exciting parts of being PP was watching the massive swelling go away! But the downside was that I was sooo sweaty at night!

@katekat8721‌ OMG, the night sweats are terrible! I wake up every morning just drenched and feeling yucky.

Lol I had a love/hate thing with it... like ew I'm disgusting! But yay the swelling is going away! I was so grossly swollen I could watch the swelling move down my legs every day. Now it's finally gone and I'm so happy haha.
