Fun weekend plans?

This is one of those weekends where we don't have much planned and I am A-OK with that.  DH is trying to convince me to invite friends over Sunday but after three weeks of having people over, I'm ready for a break.  I have grades due for my summer courses so I'll also be chipping away at those. 

Anyone else have any thrilling plans to compete with mine?

Our night consisted of going to Applebee's. This weekend we'll go to our swim club and lounge around. I might go shopping for some dresses. That's about it.

We're up in upstate NY at H aunts lake house. Fishing, going out on the boat, kayaking, campfires. Fun times and keeping me relaxed to help pass the time. I haven't officially missed my period until Sunday and that's one of my small milestones I'm counting down to.

We have to finish getting the boat ready to go in the water next weekend and K bit off more than he can chew, underestimating how hard it would be with a toddler. We are going to the drive in right now, it allows us a date without a sitter, E just sleeps in the back in her car seat and we transfer her when we get home. Tomorrow we are going to an Irish festival while K works on the boat. Ugh, so fucking pissed at that boat right now.

Baby shower for a friend on Saturday.  Slow day on Sunday.

Last night we went to a winery/food truck event that is always a lot of fun. Then I went to a moms night out musical production of Peter Pan. Today we are going to a hayride/BBQ for the opening of a local farm. Sunday will be church & then maybe the pool.

Nothing much. We're going out to brunch with some friends tomorrow morning. I want to do some fun cooking and baking this weekend. I'm trying to eat at home more so I want to try out some recipes. 

We've just started the process of remodeling our kitchen (got the initial design last weekend) so we'll probably spend some time at random home stores checking stuff out. Real exciting stuff here.

@janda426‌ DH is originally from upstate NY. We rented a lake house in the Adirondacks for a week at the end of July & Im so ready for vacation. We are bringing my mom along because she still isn't on board for moving back there in a few years (she said she only wants to retire here in N. Cal) & I think once she sees it she will fall in love. Hopefully you are nice & relaxed right now.

Last night we met up with friends for happy hour. Today we're headed to Mass for a friend's "rager". DH has a friend from high school coming with his wife and they are two miserable people so I'm not looking forward to spending time with them but otherwise it should be fun. Oh and then my cousins having a bday party/bbq tomorrow back in Maine so we'll be going there too. I'm filling my time to distract me from thinking about my u/s and then Bermuda (both in the next 2 weeks)

@4ringcircus @janda426  I am so jealous of you guys!   I am originally from that area.. I miss Lake George,  I miss The ADKs.  We are big on Kayaking,  Schroon Lake,  Lake Luzerne, Fisk Creek Ponds were some of our favorite places... 

Now we're in the Boston area and it's such a far drive

Today is a bum day... tomorrow I am face painting about 50 kids at a 4th of July BBQ

We're still working on getting the house straightened up after getting back from our trip late last Sunday, and a few other things we had this week. We have DS1's playgroup here Monday, so it really needs it!

Other than that I have errands to run and DH has work to do. We do have a b-day party for some of DS1's friends on Sunday.
