Leftover diapers??

We stocked up on diapers before DS was born and we have about two "rows" of size one diapers that are left over from the costco size pack of pampers.. He's now officially in size 2 :( They are still wrapped in their plastic. Should I keep these for the next baby? It will be at least 2 years away. Do they expire? Or should I just give them to my friends who have smaller babies?

  • They don't expire

  • I'm either donating mine to our church or passing them off to my sis or SIL, both having babies before end of year.
  • I also donated mine. My cousin passes down stuff from her son so I pay it forward!

  • They don't expire, but you can either sell them on your local B/S/T page, give them to friends or ask your ped's office if they accept them. Our ped's office takes any diapers or unopened cans of formula to donate to families in need.

We have given ours to friends if opened.  We've got several buddies with new babies.

I gave some to my sisters friends to play with their dolls and the rest I passed on to an expecting friend! If I had the storage to save them for future kids I would.

  • I had a sleeve of size 1s left from DS and I kept them for our next LO, which ended up being 4 years later.  They don't expire and worked just the same.  They were a little yellowed, but no biggie. :-) Though, donating or selling are also good ideas!

I exchanged them. Took them back to Kroger and swapped them out for the next size.

  • Does your area have a shelter for battered women? I know someone who works at the one here and they are always in need of donations for all baby products (even if they're opened).

  • Our city has a diaper bank specifically and they take open packages. If you're in an urban centre, that might be something to look for.
