Hi Ladies,
I have just started temping for the first time this month and my temps seem to be all over the place. I am also using OPKs.
As of yesterday, I had ew cm and a positive on my OPKs (digital and cheapy). When entered that data into my FF chart, it drew a nice little vertical line and told me that it agreed I was ovulating. I felt all accomplished. This morning, however, after I entered my temperature data a note popped up and said that my temperatures were too inconsistent for any kind of concrete analysis and it removed the vertical "ovulation" line and said something about estimating I'm still 2 days away from ovulation.
Hubby and I have been pretty faithful in our BDing, but at this point we're feeling a bit pooped.
Since I'm really just getting the hang of the temping thing, my instinct is to place a lot more weight on the OPK strip, but I know there is a lot of love on this site for the temp chart, so I wanted to ask y'all's opinion on whether we should keep trying for a few more days to fall more inline with the temp chart.
"Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul..."
Re: OPK and temping question
Sorry if this has been addressed before guys!
I test 2x a day when I'm approaching ovulation and I don't stop testing until I get a negative test. Testing more than once a day is helpful because you can catch the beginning of your surge.
