When you find out you're having twins, it's double the pleasure, but also double the work! Not only do you have to buy two of everything, you've got to think of two names. Two names you love, adore, and that go well together.

Looking for sweet girl names for your even sweeter daughters? Here are 20 sets of twin girl names that start with the same letter. (And even if you're only having one, there are some seriously cool names in here!)

1. Emily and Eleanor -- This incredibly popular name (number 7 in the U.S.) complements this throw-back name that's seeing a resurgence in popularity (number 106) perfectly.

2. Savannah and Sienna -- They're not twins, but actress Sienna Miller and her sister, Savannah, have names that go well together.

3. Natalie and Nicole -- Natalie, which means "Christmas Day," and Nicole, which means "victorious people," sound great together. Also, they make for cute nicknames: Nat and Nic.

4. Allison and Ashley -- Two popular names that each can be spelled in their own unique way (Alison, Allyson; Ashleigh, Ashlee).

5. Macy and Mackenzie -- The cool thing about Macy, which means "hill," and Mackenzie, which means "fire-born"? If the girls don't like having matching names when they get older, one can go by "Kenzie."

The only ones I liked as a pair for twins were "Charlotte and Chloe" because they actually start with different sounds, even though the same letter. Not a fan of matchy twin names.

I'm also not sure who decides that people can make lists like this and publish them for all to see? I think there should be an application form or something to make sure they are sensible!

If I had to have twins with names that started with the same letter, I would do Eleanor and Eve because I love them both enough to go with it.

Besides, I think they sound different enough to work. Otherwise, I'm not into matchy twin names.

I would not put many of these name together. Lacey and Lucy? They are waaaay too similar. Plus, Lacey is just, well, a ridiculous name.

Some of the individual names are fine, but that author seems to think twins absolutely need matchy, alliterated names to be proper twins.

Then again, I probably don't have much room to talk with what I named my twins...

They are ALL too matchy for me.

"Perfect" twin names, IMO, complement each other in terms of style but do not rhyme, start with the same initial (though there can be exceptions) and are not otherwise "matchy." No cutesy themes, etc. That's what we aimed for in naming our twins.

If I had twins, I would never use the same first initials. They are individuals, not a part of a unit that needs to match.
