How far along are you/what fruit? 8w5d, raspberry

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? I go for my first ultrasound today. I'm so scared that I can't even think straight. 

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? I was doing ok, but as my ultrasound gets closer, I've been a mess. Physically, I've been feeling super nauseous and tired all the time, so I'm hoping it's all for a good reason. 

GTKY: What do you have for pets? We have a husky, 3 cats, and 12 chickens

How far along are you/what fruit? 6 weeks 2 days/ Sweet pea

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.?  I go for my first ultrasound today at 2:15!!  I'm so excited and nervous.  My HCG levels were over 9,000 on Sunday so I'm hoping we can see something

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? I'm doing pretty good.  I totally freaked out on Tuesday and thought all my symptoms were gone.  I was afraid becuase I thought I felt too normal.  I have been really tired and having some major food averions since then so I'm hoping that means something. 

GTKY: What do you have for pets? We have a rescue dog, Lilly and I have a turtle in my classroom at school.  He's home with us for the summer.

How far along are you/what fruit? 5w3d, which I think is an apple seed. Is that even a fruit at this point?

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? I have my first appointment and ultrasound next Wednesday! I can't wait. I just want to know what's going on in there!

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? Physically, I feel great. Part of me wishes I felt terrible, even though I logically know that means absolutely nothing. I'm doing better mentally. I keep repeating to myself "everything is just fine" over and over. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. 

GTKY: What do you have for pets? We have two cats and one dog, who is a lab mix.

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? I had an appointment on Tuesday and met my CNM. She also did another ultrasound, so I got to see the bean again. It's grown so much and I saw it move. Unreal.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? I'm doing good this week. I think the next 4 weeks will be harder for me, but I'm going to take it day by day.

GTKY: What do you have for pets? A 1.5 year old bullmastiff named Sophie. She's 130lbs but thinks she's a lap dog.

How far along are you/what fruit? 5w6d - appleseed, almost a pea

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? None this week, but I got my beta results which were 7014 at 4w5d

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? Feeling a bit more calm with the good beta and now that I have my appointments booked. The fatigue kicked in over the past two days and I am a little bit nauseous a lot of the time, but since I didn't have any of these symptoms last time, they make me happy. I thought that I would be a bit more nervous this week since I was told that my last baby probably stopped developing in week 5 (no fetal pole was visible), but since there is no way for me to know what is going on in my ute I have chosen to enjoy being pregnant for now. 

GTKY: What do you have for pets? None, unfortunately I am allergic to almost every pet I have ever had (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pig, birds). I have always been allergic to cats and dogs.  Poor DH is a cat person and really sad that we can't have one.

I am waiting until 9 weeks for my first appointment because that is when I had my last miscarriage.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally?
I am a little tired and emotional this week. I have a very strong feeling that I am going to meet this little one in Feb.

GTKY: What do you have for pets?
No pets. Although I feel like potty training DS is just like having a new puppy.

I have an ultrasound scheduled for July 1.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally?
A little nervous since this u/s is a follow up to mine from the 17th. My doctor wants to check the heartbeat again. Physically a little ms here and there but nothing too bad.

GTKY: What do you have for pets?
Two dogs and a cat, my furbabies

How far along are you/what fruit? 5 weeks today, so an apple seed I think.

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? Ultrasound should be somewhere around 8 weeks.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? I am doing really well actually. Most the time I don't even remember that I am pregnant. It just doesn't seem real yet.

GTKY: What do you have for pets? We have two cats. I am not much of an animal person, but I think I have 2 of the best cats.

How far along are you/what fruit? 7 weeks tomorrow, blueberry!

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? Nothing new. We decided we're going to tell DH's parents on the 4th. Still not sure when/how we're going to tell my parents. They're 2 1/2 hours away and we don't see them a lot.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? The extreme nausea is actually giving me some reassurance that there actually is a baby growing in there. I'm feeling positive today that we will have another healthy baby.

GTKY: What do you have for pets? We have a dog. She's a mutt, half Chihuahua. We also have some fish and a dwarf frog. Those are DH's to take care of!

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? I have a dating u/s on Tuesday and I'm so anxious.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? I had been doing a good job keeping myself in check until last night. I had some cramping and was so convinced it was the end. This morning I had a tiny bit of brown spotting but nothing major, but now of course I am totally freaking out. I have been so hopeful but my last loss was at 7 weeks so now I'm just a mess.

GTKY: What do you have for pets? None. We call DS our little puppy sometimes, though, because he loves to chew things and go for walks

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? Had an exam with my OB today. Go back for my first ultrasound on Thursday 7/3. And now have to start calling CHOP and the MFM to make all my heart-check appointments. Starting to feel real. Hoping so hard that this baby is healthy.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? I'm hanging in there. I think once I start getting closer to the appointments when they look at baby's heart, I'll start freaking out more. Trying to stay calm for now. It's out of my hands.

GTKY: What do you have for pets? We have a dog, Shelby. She's 3 and the cutest thing ever. Sheltie mixed with something (my husband thinks cocker spaniel).

Symptoms aren't as strong which makes me worry a little. U/s is scheduled for next Wednesday. I'm going to try to change it to Tuesday in case something is wrong. I don't want to have to wait because of the holiday weekend. We had that happen last time and it was awful. Just trying to prepare for the worst but hope for the best.

QOTW: We have a 13 year old shih tzu, a 7 year old lab a 4 year old 23lb cat and a 6 month old lab pup. I begged my husband for a puppy since we were going to live child free. At least she will be a year by my due date so hopefully we will be through the toughest parts of the puppy stage.

I go for a quick check up, blood work, cultures, on July 10th. Not sure when I get to hear my sweet baby's heart beat again....

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally?
Physically: more and more queasiness (dare I say, morning sickness!) and some serious food aversions. I'm loving carbs!
Mentally: I wish I could turn off this little fucking voice in my head somedays. I will be doing great and get excited and this little annoying voice pops in and reminds me that I'm not out of 1st Tri yet! Not safe just yet! Ugh!!!!
Emotionally: a little tearful but nothing crazy!

GTKY: What do you have for pets?
2 beauteous boxers! My girl is just like me...sweet delicate gentle, and our boy is just like my husband big,clumsy, but so lovable!

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? Wednesday. It can't come soon enough.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? Physically I'm feeling okay today. We are out of town on vacation so it is helping to pass the time and keep my mind occupied for now. Emotionally I'm a bit of a mess. I've never had a good second ultrasound. I've seen everyone talk about their loss milestones, and more than a date for me, it is the second ultrasound. I've never had a good one. I'll never forget the face on the tech when she told me there was no HB that last time. I am sitting here tearing up just thinking about my appointment next week. I'm so scared. Nervous. Excited. Terrified.

What do you have for pets? I have the four best dogs in the whole wide world.

Antic - almost 2 - border collie x whippet
Enzo - almost 3 - border collie x staffordshire bull terrier
Vito - 7 - border collie x staffordshire bull terrier
Emma - 10 - golden retriever

Mobile bump isn't letting me post a picture, but believe me, they are incredible. If I love my kids half as much as I love these dogs.......:)

I hope all the PGALers are having a great day and are experiencing a bit of peace of mind, even if for a moment.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? I'm still nervous about the possibility of a loss. But then tell myself to stop b/c I've said from the start we'd have another early Feb b-day. And I feel like a fat cow

GTKY: What do you have for pets?
Tons! 3 cats, 3 dogs, hamster, gecko and too many fish!

How far along are you/what fruit? 7w5d or 7w6d depending on what date you go by. I had a 6dt but my RE still uses dates as if it was a 5dt so blueberry for now, raspberry this weekend
Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? My last u/s was a week ago.. next u/s is Monday and my first OB appointment is Wednesday.
How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? Tired. A little less m/s which, of course, makes me nervous.

How far along are you/what fruit? 8 weeks tomorrow, so almost a raspberry

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? Had an ultrasound on Wednesday, and it was wonderful! Saw and heard the heartbeat. I have my first check-up with my OB next Wednesday.

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? Physically - exhausted and nauseous like WHOA. Mentally - still kind of in shock and numb. Emotionally - gearing up for a cry-fest. My 2nd angel baby's due date is this coming Tuesday, and we're going to a park to release some balloons and celebrate it's little life. We did the same with our first angel baby. It's incredibly hard but also provided good closure, but I'm dreading it at the same time.

GTKY: What do you have for pets? no pets for us currently.

Everything went well! We have a little bean, measuring two days ahead with a heartbeat of 179! Thanks for all the good thoughts!

I am 4 weeks 6 days
Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? I had 2 blood draws this week and my progesterone looked good at 19.1 and my hcg was doubling in 48 hours although it was only 159 at 4 weeks 4 days

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? I'm doing pretty well, I am feeling nauseous, which I never did with my loss so I am actually happy about that!

GTKY: What do you have for pets? I have a cockapoo (cocker spaniel poodle mix) named Lacey!

I know what you mean! I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop.  The nurse today thought I was crazy I think.  She was trying to tell me the ultrasound was normal.  I kept asking, "you mean there's no hematoma? There's nothing else weird in there?  That heart rate is really normal?".  lol.

My OB gets me, so when he walked in, he just said, "let's do the ultrasound first so you can breathe, and then we can talk about everything else." He must have asked me three or four times if i was ok! It was so weird to have a normal, happy visit at this stage in the game!

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? I had my hCG checked a few times and they looked great. >10,000 two weeks ago. No u/s until July (9weeks). Darn Dr is out of town the week before. Grrrr. So want to see what's going on!

How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? So far ie actually been doing ok. This pregnancy has actually helped heal me a bit. Hoping for the best but there are days that I freak out and cry. Just trying to stay positive because I haven't had any reason not to be (unlike last time).

Marietta 10 1/2yo Mexican street mutt (best dog EVER. My vet school dog)
Oskar Blue 2 yo god knows what cross with insanely humongous ears.
Drifter 6mo looks like a mini lab (also unknown mix) that was a special needs guy I had to feed through a feeding tube for his first 3months after he had heart surgery.
And 5 cats: Melvin, Herman, Calvin, George, and Gilda.

Any appointments, ultrasounds, updates, etc.? First Prenatal Appointment is July 17 @ 8 weeks and 1 day.


How are you doing--physically, mentally, emotionally? Physical I am doing okay having some symptoms of pregnancy. Mentally my mind is going in all directions I worry about weather or not this pregnancy is going to continue you strong but I believe that the Lord is in control. Emotionally I have my ups and downs.


GTKY: What do you have for pets? We don't have a pet but my parents have a small dog.
