I had initially thought of cutting a pool noodle in half and rigging that onto the crib, but then I realized he would just bite chunks out of the noodle, so now that's out of the question!
@Snowboarderbritt I think so. As long as if you cut the ends; that it doesn't fray. All you do is cut strips of fabric near the slots, and then tie it on.
I also made one for DS! We haven't needed the side rails yet, but I plan on doing those once we do. I made it reversible too so that way I can switch it up if I want.
Not sure if this would help, but we dropped the mattress down to the lowest level. Standing up, his mouth doesn't reach the railings. He's 90th in heighth, but our crib matress is only about 6in from the floor. We also have a all one piece wooden toy that he has in there and gnaws on.
Yup we have the crib on the lowest level already! Little stinker is TALL lol.
@Jalee85 I will have to try that. Thanks so much!!

Now that I think about it, minky sheds and frays a lot! I think I'll have to head to Joann's this week and get some matching fleece. Thanks!
Really? Thats weird! I made a tie blanket out of minky and it hasn't frayed at all! It curls for me is all. You can see it here in the corner of the picture. Flat minky and the polka dot minky. I plan on using the leftover for rail covers.
Re: Any other crib chewers?!
No experience with this, but it says it's for all crib shapes.

You get 2 yards of fleece.... And I will just find the tutorial, because it will be less typing...haha
