19 MO wake up time earlier suddenly

DD is just about 19 mos and has always woken up around 7 AM. We get her ready for daycare and DH leaves with her at 7:30, she eats breakfast at DC. Recently she has been waking at 6 AM. Now I realize this isn't a huge deal, but I also have a 3 MO old and am usually feeding him then and DH is getting ready for work. Her naps haven't changed as DC nap time is 1-3 each day and she typically naps full 2 hours, Should we try putting her to bed a little later at night? Perhaps she just doesn't need as much night sleep as she used to, but I'd like to get her back to 7AM wake up. She is put down in crib about 7:45 and usually babbles 20-30 mins before falling asleep. Thoughts on later bedtime? Thanks

  • She doesn't cry when she wakes up..she just hangs out in her crib. But she starts to cry if left for too. It's just difficult since I also have a 12 week old..trying to manage taking care of both when they wake up is difficult.

  • I would actually try to get her in bed a little earlier.  I have read a thousand places that it sometimes means bedtime was too late, not too early.  Try to have her asleep by 730 and see if that fixes it. Otherwise it might just be her new wake up time, or a phase. But for us, anytime baby has started waking before 7pm, I have put him to bed earlier and voila he goes back to sleeping until 7am
