Please!!
I would like something that is more durable (not the cheap plastic wheels) because I will use it in all terrains.
TIA!

Re: Recommend your double stroller

  • I just bought a City Select on Craigslist, and it's pretty awesome. I'm a STM so I haven't used it with two kids yet, but it seems like it will be amazing. I didn't want a side-by-side one, and this is still pretty light considering it's size.

  • I should add, my DS is 9 months. So he'll be 15 months when this LO arrives.

I've been lusting over this stroller! I also have been looking at the double city mini gt
  • Joovy caboose too ultralight- comes with extra seat that easily attaches, is sit and stand, connects with most infant car seats. I watched a variety of YouTube reviews for different double strollers and this was the best in my price range.....bonus that I bought it 2 weeks ago from babiesrus and it was $90 off

  • Thank you ladies!

I've just recently heard good things about Joovy.

And I'm now researching second hand Bobs... :)

I have a BOB Dot stroller with a removable second seat. I absolutely hate double strollers with a passion. But I had two kids under two so it was necessary for a short time.

Now at two and a half years old, my older son absolutely refuses to sit in a stroller. The good thing about the Dot is that the second seat is optional so I am not stuck with a double stroller just for my 11 month old. Plus it can be configured in multiple ways so I can use it will Baby #3 as soon as he arrives.
  • I also have a double BOB and I will say that it actually folds smaller and fits better in the trunk of our car than the tandem stroller we did have. I can't say anything bad about our BOB, I absolutely love it. When we visit my parents we use a City Select that they bought off of Craigslist and maybe it will work better for an infant and an older child, but for my boys, even at just over a year old it was a tight squeeze and the kiddo in front was constantly being kicked by the one in the back (when they faced each other it caused all out kicking wars).

  • I have been researching the heck out of this and I had it narrowed down to the britax bagile double and the baby jogger city mini. They seem extremely similar. I like that they are relatively light weight for a double stroller that still accommodates a car seat. Maneuverability is another big plus, and I only want the side by side stroller.

I think I am going with the britax though because my mom has the britax car seat so I'm going to trade my chicco with her temporarily. If I do that the britax will be a bit cheaper because the city mini you have to buy an adapter. Unless anyone thinks they city mini is worth the extra money?
  • @limabeanMOM- where are you going to get the city mini? If I could find an older model for a good price, I might do that instead of the britax.

I don't have either but would prefer the B-Agile. It has an adjustable handle and no bar across the back to kick. The basket also looks more accessible than the CM. If you use a Britax infant seat the Click & go is awesome. (We have a B-Ready and Chaperone)

    @Bella3413‌
I've found the older model (2013 I think) of the city mini gt double on amazon for $450. This is what I'm really leaning towards, but I wanted some input from owners of double strollers.
Since we'll have 2 well under 2, and if we decided on a third it won't be far behind, I'm not against spending money for a great stroller. But I want to know it's really worth it.

I'm afraid of the kicking wars. I started leaning towards a side by side because of that.
