BG 4.0 prep question

I didn't prep my stash originally so I don't remember what was done. MIL just bought me 6 new BG 4.0 diapers. 5 are light 1 is dark. They say to prep separate. I don't really want to waste water prepping one dark diaper. Should I just prep them all together or ask her to exchange it?

I washed all of mine together and didn't separate out colors. I think that others here have mentioned that Dazzle (purple) is the only one that they have had an issue with bleeding onto a lighter one and that was only if it sat in the wash a little bit.

I'd prep them all together.  Heck I'd probably just throw them in with the load of used diapers.

This is what I do when I get a new diaper.  Just throw it in the diaper pail.

I've prepped BGs of all colours together and I've prepped them with loads of regular diaper laundry as well. I believe like PP that Dazzle is the only one that I've heard of bleeding but it washed out later anyway.

Thanks, the dark one is a reddish orange color, the name escapes me. I will probably just prep them all together.
