QOTW: What is your favorite thing to do during the summer?

Edited for check-in: I have no u/s this week.. boo! My next one is a week from today. It will be my last w/ an RE. I know I'm supposed to be finding an OB, but I'm at a loss of what to do. My nausea is subsiding as well as my sore BB's.. hopefully all is still okay (I know it means nothing, I just can't help it).

If anyone has any advice on how to find an OB, I'd love the help. I haven't rec'd a referral from my RE. He isn't acting like I need anyone special lol. I know I'm going to pick one of two hospitals w/ a level 3 NICU. Then search OB's from there... but I have no clue how to interview?  Do I schedule consultations? Is it a co-pay each time? Will I get to meet all the docs.. or one at a time? lol I guess I'm still getting used to the idea that I'm actually pregnant, that I haven't moved on! TIA!

QOTW: We love to travel, but this summer are trying to save money for obvious reasons lol. So this summer my favorite thing will be reading on my deck in the sun or going to the pool!

MoM checking in! Next ultrasound on Wednesday so I should have hopefully a good update for you all next check in.

Favorite summer thing to do? We travel a lot, so I'd say that's it. We've already been to the beach for a week and now we are in the UP for a week!

I enjoy just being outside gardening, fishing, swimming, things like that. I also like hanging out with family, we usually go on vacation but we took it early this year because I am taking a summer class. Hoping to enjoy my last summer without kids.

I had my 3rd U/S yesterday! Baby A's heartbeat was 150 bpm and Baby B's was at 158 bpm. My last appt. with my RE is next Wed. (He told me he was kicking me out lol). 1st appt. with my ob is July 8th!!!

I went to the dentist for a cleaning this morning and had to spill the beans since they wanted to do xrays and they were so excited for us. (My husband and I have been going there for a long time).

QOTW: I love going to the beach. I hope I feel more up to it soon, because I have been missing some beautiful beach days.

@katecorum - we're u/s buddies!  My next appt is also next Wed and I'm super excited!

We try pretty hard to get ourselves invited to cottages throughout the summer  Nothing I love more than sitting on the dock, reading my book, swimming on and off all day followed by a yummy BBQ for dinner!

Guise, I just realized that according to this website, now that I'm having twins they're giving me an EDD of Jan 27!!!  Um, I am not going anywhere, you won't make me leave, right???

@jaytee16‌ My singleton due date is Feb 8th, but will most likely go in Jan. I am staying here!

My EDD is January 12th!  ( That is 38 weeks and OB won't let me go past that)  I plan on staying on this board as it is more developmentally appropriate!

I had my first OB appointment yesterday!  I will see my RE for a few more weeks just for bloodwork monitoring since I am still on PIO injections and estrogen. My OB appointment was not eventful.  Bloodwork, vitals, pelvic exam, got questions answered etc.  I am also being referred to a MFM to monitor the twins.  I go back to OB in 4 weeks and see the MFM in 3-4 weeks.  I don't get to see the babies again until then

My favorite thing to do int he summer is to just float in the pool!

@ksgsmu I have been so spoiled with the weekly U/S's... I have one more with my RE next Wed @ 8 weeks. Not sure what my ob does yet.

I had my second official ultrasound today. Monday there were two yolk sacs but only one hb so doc wanted twin "confirmation" and also for me to meet with the Peri as he felt my situation with a Bicornuate uterus needed to be discussed asap. (Went in for reg appt with OB at 915 this am, and he sent me for a stat appointment for u/s and OB consult at 11!)

well- baby number 2 showed up today with a hb and all. I am trying to feel excited but, tbh anxiety and worry is my main emotion right now. We were not even TTC one right now. I know this is probably natural but, I am really hoping those feelings clear up soon. Wow sorry for that rant!!!

Anywayyyyyy...... My favorite summer thing to do is WATERPARK:) im a kid at heart. I'm bummed I will miss out this season, but I will find a way to get myself in a swimsuit for next season at least once!!

@OmSweetOm - I think that is a totally normal reaction.  We were doing IVF (after many other IF treatments) and transferred two embabies.  Of course we knew twins was a possibility, but after 2 years of shitty luck and bad news, we didn't really expect both to take.  I found out this week, while H has been across the world, which has totally fueled my anxiety, being here alone freaking out!  It's big news, and even after 2 years of TTC and wanting this so much, I'm still having moments of panic and freaking out about having two at once! 

Sorry that got long, just to say that you are not alone in your feelings.  I am all over the map - happy, excited, anxious, nervous, scared, but definitely happy.  And I think that's ok.  Give yourself some time to let this big news sink in.

@ jaytee16, I feel the same way! Hard to believe that after so many years of bad news that there is finally some good news. I just went in yesterday for my 2nd u/s and they are both growing like they should and measuring where they should at 8w3d. Heartbeats are strong but they don't mesure them till later on. I go back in for another one on Thursday and a sit down with my RE ( he has been out of town for my first two) he will have me come back in for one more then send me off to the OB! Fave summer thing is the water! Can't get enough of it! Pool, lake, park where ever I am there.

Hey everyone we had our 2nd US yesterday and heard the heartbeats and it was wonderful.  I am still on modified bed rest, but my RE said this should be the last week as long as all goes well. I have my 1st OB appt. on Wed. and another appt. with the RE on Thurs. so I'm excited to see the babies twice this next week.

I will be joining you ladies if that's ok. Still a little shocked at twins!!! Wow.... I'm planning to be a sahm and just visited my neighbor today who is also sahm of twin girls who are 2 months old. She was saying how her oldest was a breeze but 2 are hard. Made me a little worried.

We are 7weeks3days today. Had our ultrasound yesterday confirming twins at our RE office. We heard 2 perfect lil heartbeats. 138 and 159....hoping that means boy/girl. Would LOVE that!!!!

Found out today twins!!! So excited to be joining all of you ladies. At first my RE confirmed one until the end of the U/S when she saw the second baby. We were shocked even though we did IVF. I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow (EDD: February 11th) however as others have said I can't go past 38 weeks if I make it! Hearing those heartbeats and seeing them flicker was the most amazing thing! (Baby A-155 Baby B-152)
Are any of you ladies feeling any stomach/breast changes? I swore up&down I would not buy mat. clothes until 2nd tri but I'm not sure I will make it! My skinny jeans only have maybe another week... I'm a little sad I don't have another U/S or appt. until 11 weeks then RE lets us graduate.

Favorite summer activity? I think sleeping/lounging this year.I'm so sleepy but I will be going on some camping trips.

Sorry this is so long I'm just beyond thrilled. Congrats to all the multiple mama's

My babies are due feb 28th I'm still in shock it's twins but getting more and more excited! My first was a singleton so this is all new to me. If anyone has advice or helpful hints please let me know I'm new to all TB so please excuse if I ask a lot of repetitive questions or take awhile to respond
