I have eaten all the foods you listed... deli meat, sushi, soft cheeses. I also have had frozen yogurt from the soft serve machine multiple times. The only food I am a little strict about is the amount of fish I eat in a week. Other than that, I just try to go to reputable places and eat food that I trust.

I've eaten almost everything in moderation: soft cheeses, deli meat, hot dog, bacon/sausages, ice cream/shakes, caffeine. I've been really bad before and even had a bite or two of raw cookie dough. It's my weakness! My doctor basically said be safe about it and not stress.
I've had it all! I try to limit the lunch meat just because of the high sodium but everything else is free game. My doctor said if you can buy it in the grocery stores it's fine. I could not imagine going my entire pregnancy with my favorite food (Gorgonzola truffle fries) from a local burger chain! Seriously how good do those look?!?
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
The soft serve machines can be disgustingly dirty and even have listeria or food poisoning if the place doesn't do a good job of cleaning them. That's why some women refrain.

I eat whatever I want when ever I want. It would be nearly impossible to avoid all the possible ways to get listeria. Seriously, you should google what all foods have had outbreaks lately it is everything from cantaloupe to hummus.
Rarely, I eat deli meat, but I throw it in a frying pan first. Soft cheeses, yes, because they're almost all pasteurized (I read labels first. No unpasteurized dairy for me.) No alcohol or sushi, but I don't like them anyway.
I like eating conscientiously while pregnant, and I eat an enormous array of delicious foods. I'm not weeping over that hot dog I "can't" have.
I didn't like hot dogs before, they give me wicked indigestion. I don't really like eggs either. The only thing I've not done is the cheese, don't ask why! Otherwise I still have my morning coffee. I eat a sandwich at least once a week. I'll eat as much chocolate as I feel like eating. I ate tuna in macaroni last week. I've had some sips of wine and beer. I probably would've eaten sushi too but I live in BFE and that's not something that's typically available out here. Listeria in fruit & veggies?! See this is why I feel it's much more safe to snack on cheetos and french fries. :-)
I've steered clear of most of the off limit food. I have given in a few times and had a deli sandwich though. Just trying to spread the sandwiches out.
I'm on vacation at the beach and it has been hard limiting my fish and shrimp intake. I'm a seafood junkie and could eat it every day so I've been watching how much I've had.
Sushi, taste of beer (dipped the tip of my finger in to taste) of DH, Had a deli sandwich from Subway (meat heated up), soft serve ice cream, other types of ice cream - I second going the whole summer without ice cream is CRAZY!, Soda I have not been able to kick to the curb. Like PP have said. Moderation. . . . All about Moderation.
The only thing that has changed in my diet is that I no longer drink alcohol regularly, and I'm a little more conscious of my caffeine intake. I still have a glass of wine or a beer on occasion, but not regularly, and I still have iced coffee and/or coca cola daily, but often less than I might like. Otherwise, I eat and drink whatever. I think most of those rules are dumb.
bacon? Since when is bacon on the list of things to avoid?
THIS! I've never heard of bacon being off limits.... what in the world????
I'll eat any cheese but no deli meat (unless cooked) and no sushi (unless I am at an upscale restaurant and confirm it is cooked sushi) no raw oysters, no tuna tartare, I try to stick to decaf coffee and not a drop of alcohol. I did have a hot dog once or twice... My main reason for saying no to things is more because I have never known the meaning of moderation... I'm an extremist! I told me boss just the other day... I don't want just a glass of wine.. I want 4... so it's easier for me to just say no all together...
I still have to have some caffeine, but I do limit my intake. I've had deli meat, but try to heat it up. Don't like sushi, so that's not a problem. Had a hot dog for lunch yesterday and a bacon sandwich for dinner a few days before (bacon! Not giving that up!). Haven't had any soft serve, but just haven't had the opportunity really...we always end up getting regular ice cream. Oh and I licked the spoon when I made cake batter the other day. And I can't really give up my runny eggs. I guess the only thing I'm really strict about is the unpasteurized cheese thing. And I don't really eat blue cheese...something about eating mold veined cheese while pregnant skeezes me out.
I've actually been more cautious than I thought I would be - but I have been eating pasteurized soft cheeses- just love feta and goat too much and we do so many pasta salads in the summer with them. I indulged in bacon a few times (BTW: someone asked about that - it's the nitrates - just like hot dog - that ward people off) and I have eaten nitrate free organic hot dogs - but wow they just don't taste like hebrew national. I've never been a big lunch meat fan, too salty for me - so easy to avoid - I have eaten tuna - but I get wild planet, low mercury kind and try to limit to tuna salad for a week no more than once a month. Otherwise I've stayed away from Sushi and alcohol but have indulged in a few foods in a restaurant that had wine or something alcoholic in the sauce.
One of the doctors at my practice pretty much says just avoid alcohol and high mercury fish - but the rest is really just understanding the environment your food comes from. She said listeria is not really that common but if you are eating food from a questionable place - regardless of if it is lunch meat or hummus, etc....that should raise your guard more than type of food. Another doctor pointed out to me that Asian countries have been eating sushi while pregnant for years..... I think it comes down to comfort level.
There are some things I won't do and some things I did without realizing it was a no-no and just kept doing it anyway. No raw sushi, no salami, no cold cuts, < 200mg caffeine a day, no alcohol, no stinky cheeses, no delicious rare meat, low mercury fish.
I have had over easy/poached eggs, sausage, and probably a bunch of things that I don't know are bad. I am pretty sure that cinnamon bun ice cream has some sort of uncooked dough in it, but it's fucking delicious.
I tried switching to decaf and half caff, but I struggled to make it through my shifts. I can drink as much as 2 cups of coffee and 2 Big Gulps of Diet Coke a day- though some days I have neither. Caffeine is the only thing I was specifically told to limit and am struggling to cut back on.
I switched to alcohol removed beer- which still has alcohol, actually, and I have never had more than 2 in a week just because it hasn't sounded good.
I haven't changed much about my diet order than limiting caffeine, but only because it upsets my stomach. I'm much more conscious about washing all fresh produce. I had no alcohol in first tri but had wine a time or two in second tri and now that in in third tri I have a few sips of DH's beer pretty much every evening (so maybe the equivalent of a small beer every week?). I think most "rules" given to pregnant women are pure bullshit.

I am following the recommendations my midwife gave me, which were pretty lenient.
The only thing she told me "no" on is raw fish so I have been dutifully (and sorrowfully) following that.
I limit caffeine intake to one cup of coffee a day, and a few times I have had a tea or other caffeinated beverage later in the day. If I have bacon or hot dogs they are nitrate free (but I would do that anyway) and they're not something I have often. I have had lunch meat a couple times but again it is not something I eat regularly. All pasteurized dairy.
I have had very small (think 1/3 to 1/2) glasses of wine I think twice? My midwife told me I was absolutely fine to have a glass of wine but I haven't felt like it too much. I do miss it but I don't have a problem passing it up if that makes sense. I have a tiny sip of my husband's wine from time to time.
Bacon, hot dogs, soft serve, light caffeine, and the occasional pasturized soft cheese. Sushi, but only the few rolls where the fish is cooked (so not really on the no-no list anyway). Not limiting chocolate at all -- are we supposed to? Just because of the caffeine?
I really really miss runny eggs.
I'm also eating a ton of seafood, definitely more than once a week, though not the big bad fish. Mainly shrimp and small fish.
On the other side, I've turned crazy about food hygiene and washing fruits and veggies, especially greens. I wash everything in at least three rinses of water, and one of those is a vinegar-water solution. Slows down food prep quite a bit but gives me peace of mind.
Well this has sufficiently freaked me out. Soft serve!!!! What? Didn't realize this.
I have had lunch meat, but only heated. I'm super terrified something will go wrong, so I have yet to eat something on the nono list. Have to look into the soft serve issue.
~First time mama, strikingly handsome husband, comedic pooch, krumpin' baby girl on her way~
I have not had sushi, but have been so tempted on several occasions. I did have a bagel with lox and cream cheese this week! Best breakfast ever. I also drink a small cup of coffee daily. Can't give that up and won't. My husband is Italian so we have had Procuitto, salami, and all those goodies!
Realized I forgot - I also do one cup of half-caff coffee a day. Couldn't make it through the day without it - And when I was traveling I did one cup full caff, as couldn't get half-caff. I've also find I'm washing produce and greens a lot more - but not quite to the extreme level. I buy those packages of organic greens that say triple-washed and admittedly I often don't wash those again, though I know I probably should be. I keep meaning to get one of those vegetable and fruit washes but never get around to it.
Like a PP the only thing I've limited is what my OB specifically mentioned to me. So, fish. Only certain kinds and only so much in a week. She asked me if I drink (I don't, even before pregnancy) or if I drink caffeine (a little, but not every day) and said ok and moved on.

I still eat it. I've had a few Jimmy John's sandwiches, bacon and hot dogs, sushi, and runny eggs.
I plan on having a small glass of wine while we're on vacation during 3rd tri too.

No soft serve because why not just eat ice cream?
