As I am 4 weeks pp I can't help but look forward to being able to do the deed with DH. I plan on waiting to get cleared from doctor at 6 week check up...I was so not into it before my due date (it's been almost 2 months), but now I'm feeling ready. I don't think DH is as anxious as I am though! How long do you plan on waiting?

I feel the same way! At 4 days pp I had an awesome sex dream about DH and it drove me crazy to not be able to do anything. I'm waiting for the all-clear at my 6-week appt, though. July 8th cannot come soon enough, haha.

I had a dream that I took a pregnancy test at my 6 week postpartum appt and it was positive, yikes that is enough to scare me away from sex for a while! Also I have no desire to dtd

I'm pretty sure I still have my stitches and had one internal tear. We are waiting the 6 weeks at the very least. DH is looking into a vasectomy too so we will both be out of commission at the same time.

My sex drive was suuuuuper high my whole pregnancy, and is just as high now!!! The only difference is that DHs sex drive was suuuuuper low my whole pregnancy and now is suddenly crazy high so I am going NUTS not being able to do anything!!! I am waiting for the all clear at my 6week pp appointment as well. UGH JULY 17TH NEEDS TO GET HERE QUICKER.

DH is dying... his drive was really low during pregnancy but that seems to have vanished - fast.

I am in too much pain from my CS to even think about it, though. I can barely get off the couch without wincing.

I just had to comment! I'm only 1 wk pp too and I'm dying, I know my down there is soooo not ready for DH but I have the same thoughts " my DH is just sooo sexy" I can't even look at him for too long lol

With my other kids I made it to 3w pp and 5w pp. Right now I'm 2w pp and the bleeding has nearly stopped. I had 3 stitches on a barely there tear on my urethra. I could see myself giving it only another week or two.

We waited 6.5 weeks, would have probably happened sooner but my MIL was visiting. I didn't think I'd want to that soon but hey, we hadn't had sex since mid March.

I'm 4 weeks PP and am waiting til we get the all clear from OB and have a discussion about BC. I love my son but I need some time to forget about some of the more unpleasant memories of all things pregnancy-related. As I type this though my husband climbs into bed smelling wonderful and complementing me for being a super mom...c'mon July 10!!!

Between having a screaming infant and an obnoxious almost 3 year old (don't get me wrong, I do love them) I have no clue when I'll have sex again. I had a 4 week check up yesterday and was given all clear and don't need to be back for a year but when will I ever have a chance again? Not to mention, I am terrified that hubby will unintentionally make contact with one if my hemorrhoids. I'd love me some good sexing but I feel like it is definitely going to be a while.

This is me too!  I'm so traumatized from the tearing and stitches and bleeding that the thought of intentionally putting something in there is terrifying to me.

Missed it so much and felt so damn good! Kind of regretting it now though because condoms suck and I'm afraid next time we get the urge our lust might win over our logic. I really don't want to be pregnant again anytime soon. Should've waited for some bc.

I tried Mirena after my dd and had it removed a month later. I could feel it all the time. Felt like I was being stabbed. I really, really wanted it to work, and I'm debating on giving an IUD another try. Maybe it was just misplaced the first time?

Not me! We have to schedule, pay, take shots and thaw our future babies... no spontaneous oopsie babies here lol

You know when I told my OB I was considering skipping BC she reminded me of the people I know who have had to do IVF and had spontaneous pregnancies the second time around. And told me I'd probably end up with twins again or something.

Needless to say, we pulled out our stash of condoms from the cycles on Lupron....
