Raises hand... Ive been on Lovenox for about 5 weeks. It burns like hell!! I mean it really BURNS!! So inject is closer to your love handles than your abdomen. Some people ice first. Be careful because the prefilled syringe has air pockets that you cant get out, so it causes bruises.

Thanks for the tips @jaztaz1 ! I will maybe get DH to inject me if possible. He did a good job when I took Lovenox for 2 weeks after my pulmonary embolism! Hopefully these shots don't break my bank!!
I don't have any advice for it, but I just wanted to say I feel for you! My cousin had to do it with both her pregnancies. She is a nurse so felt like a pro doing it, but it was a pain for her, and I imagine it can't feel great after having to do it daily for so long.
jaztaz1 brought up the ice. Have you heard of that "Buzzy" Pain Relief System thing that a mom (who I believe is a doctor) invented for her child that had to take injections frequently? It looks kind of pricey but might be something to look into. Is couples an ice pack with vibrations that is supposed to numb the skin and help ease the pain of the injection.
