We have 5 or 6 pairs because MIL keeps buying them for her and most of them don't fit. She doesn't wear shoes at home or daycare so it feels like a huge waste.
Dang-it - rabbit reminded me we do actually have a pair of home shoes too. We just never use them, so I forgot about them. Messing up my own poll ... ">
We have a couple of pairs of shoes that were given to us but B's feet are gigantic and fat and wide so none of them ever fit. So I answered 0. I started shopping for some the other day but gave up when I tried to put size 5's on him (don't know what size 5 equates to in months or anything), and they wouldn't fit.
3 pairs of sandals, 3 pairs of ballet flats/mary janes, 2 pairs of sneakers. Only reason why I have some much atm is because someone just gave me 4 pairs.
He doesn't walk consistently yet so I don't usually think to put shoes on him but he has many pairs because his Nana is obsessed with them, she's always getting him another pair. I have come close to buying him those tiny converse though, tiny converse = adorable. I've refrained though
This poll had me thinking, so I went and counted and he has around 12 pairs... Yikes! In my defense 75% came from my sister's little boy, she has the real problem
He's not walking yet so he didn't have shoes. When he does start to walk I'll get him a pair of new balance sneakers. Ds1 is 3 and has only 2 pair of new balance sneakers and 1 pair of sandals at a given time. One pair is for outside (he's a typical boy and likes to jump in puddles and run through mud) and the other is for regular wear. In my experience, their feet grow every 3 months so there is no point in getting a lot of shoes- especially since they are expensive.
He has 4. Two sandals, one pair of tennis shoes, and one pair of cute boat shoes. We are outside a lot and he is walking, so he gets a lot of use out of them.
1 pair of Stride Rite sandals 1 pair of Stride Rite sneakers 1 pair of water shoes 1 pair of sandals she never wears because she hates them 1 pair of shoes she wore for her birthday that were a gift. Thank goodness because they fit badly.
@BunnyLove416 I scored a pair of tiny adorable Converse I scored at Target for 5 dollars on clearance! I couldn't resist. Now we both have grey ones we match... (<--- nerd!)
He has a pair of sandals and a pair of soft shoes that live at daycare in case he needs shoes there. He never wears any of them. When I put them on him he refuses to move at first. Then he crawls out of them. So I gave up.
Oh man you know I'm going to have to look in the clearance section now! That would be ADORABLE.
DD has 6 pairs that fit her currently. Two pairs of runners, two pairs of crocs, one pair of 'flip flops' (they have a little strap that goes behind the heel) and one pair of sandals with a million velcro straps that my SO's mom bought because she thought the flip flops were 'too dangerous' even though DD walks perfectly fine in the flip flops and like a horse in the other sandals. Its hilarious to watch but sad at the same time. Kinda like putting booties on a dog.
ETA: She only wears shoes when we go out somewhere where she's going to want to get out of the stroller and walk around. Like the park. At home she's barefoot.
Technically 2, one pair of closed toe sandals and one pair of sneakers. However, I am keeping the sneakers in the box for now. I think he is going to be ready for the next size up pretty soon and I am hoping to just exchange. He wasn't really into trying them on at stride rite, so the person fitting him just did her best.
