@Jodiboch‌ @JessParmesan79‌ where will you deliver? I had DD at loudoun birthing inn last time but now my dr is trying to divert all his patients to reston. I'm not ok with that so I will have to have a talk with him at my first appt.

Sandc63, I'm gonna deliver at Fairfax or fair oaks. I think my dr delivers at both.

@tumbleweed123 NOOOOO!  I'm a die hard Hawkeye.  But I still like you  I grew up right smack dab in the middle of where Iowa Hawkeyes come from, where there are bars as far as the eye can see...I now live in a bigger city about 40 minutes away that doesn't smell very good.  I like talking in clues!

mayaruthie   I totally know where that is -- and no worries -- I lived in Hawkeye country for a bit during college. In fact, I was a Hawkeye for a bit. I still like you!  I also spent time in the bigger city that doesn't smell very good -- my best childhood friend's grandparents lived there and I loved visiting.  Are we the only Iowans on here?

@tumbleweed123 Yep, so far anyway.  When were you a Hawkeye?  I graduated in 2003, and even work there now.  I'm glad you picked up on my smelly reference--it's a nice city but man, the smell can take your breath away some days

mayaruthie I would have graduated in 99, but I transferred to another school after my first year.  I really loved that town, but I left because of the field I wanted to study.  I still go back though and visit friends who graduated and stayed.

@Sandc63 - For DS I delivered at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington.  We were living in Alexandria at the time.  I really loved it.  I'll have to see if anything has changed since then in terms of where my OB will deliver.  VHC is actually about the same distance from me as INOVA Fairfax.  We toured Fairfax last time and we liked it there, too.
