I know there have been quite a few registry and baby furniture posts lately. I had been planning to buy a convertible crib. It just seemed logical to buy something that could later be used as a full-size bed. However, a few people mentioned that some people never end up converting the crib to a full-size bed for various reasons (price of the converter rails, baby chewed on the crib). --- Do any of the STMs have experience with convertible cribs? Are they worth it?
Re: Convertible Crib?
This DD will have her own convertible crib that we will convert to a full down the line too.
I grew up with a twin size daybed thru college so getting my kids a queen size bed instead of a full seems like overkill.
DS is still in a convertible crib. His bedroom set will remain his and we'll be getting a new set for the new baby. When DS is ready, we'll convert the bed to a toddler bed and then eventually a full size bed. We bought the set with that intention.
