How many wet diapers should our babies be having now?
We've been trying to get LO to wcm for a month now and I have tried every suggestion out there amd next week will prolly try choc milk. We are still nursing about 3x per day but Im concerned because she has about only 3-5 wets a day now. And she has gone twice thru the night without going.
Re: wet diaper count
We've tried wcm straight warmed/cold,bottles/sippies/cups. She takes a drink then spits out. So tried half wcm half bm again bottles/sippis warm/cold. Same thing. Most recently tried almond milk and so far same story. We do offer water and so does daycare.
I need to try to wean her because dh and i had planned a vacay in sept so i want her to transition now while we are here and not have it be cold turkey. I will be a mess and prolly end upbstaying home.
Now his new thing is to refuse his sippy cup ALL morning. One day this weekend he went what seemed like half the day without drinking. So I went back to giving a bottle in the morning only. It's not what I wanted to do but I rather have him taking in fluids than not.
Also what helps sometimes is to pretend to drink out of his sippy cup, offer it to DH for a sip, then offer it to DS. If its good enough for us, then it's good enough for him.

Will LO drink water? If so you can give yogurt and cheese, etc to get the calcium in. I know a lot of Mamas on here are weaning off pouches but I use them daily. LO loves them and the yogurt ones, especially cold. So one days he's not drinking a lot of milk I give him 1 or 2 yogurt pouches.
I agree with @botanicalbliss - I wouldn't do Chocolate milk. A lot of sugar and if it were me I would DEFINITELY never drink wcm when I know there's Chocolate milk to be had!
