We're having girl #2, and we've been brainstorming lots of names, but haven't yet settled on the right one. My taste seems to be kind of all over the place. Siblings are: Nathan, Matthew, and Ava. Here's our list so far:

Nice list overall! Keep: Charlotte, Eliana, Violet, Juliet(te), Evelyn, Lilliana, ruby. Toss the rest. Add: Madeline/Madeleine spelled this way. Madelyn spelling is kind of unnecessarily dumbing it down.

I do prefer the spelling of Madeline, but I was afraid it would be pronounced as Mad-e-LINE as opposed to Mad-e-lynn. Madeleine is nice too, but I kind of don't like the way it looks. I thought Madelyn would be a nice compromise, but I don't really like how it looks trendy and not as traditional as Madeline. But this does give me something to think about when considering this name, so thank you!!

I think most people default to the Lynn ending, but if not, it's an easy enough correction. Madeline is one of my very favorite names. Well, to be honest your list looks A LOT like my short list did. Great names!
