BOTB After no AF but BFNs!

Hello!  I've been on TB since my son was born in '09 and again with my daughter in '11 so now that I have BOTB, thought I'd come back (new username)!

We were not TTC (on BC) but no AF this month and thought for sure we were expected # 3 but after a few BFNs I'm guessing just no AF this month.  I got myself mentally prepared for a BFP that I was disappointed when it wasn't.

Thus, here I am!  Anyone in the same boat?  Prepped for an unexpected BFP but was a BFN?

I am definitely in the same boat. We are not TTC but it's like a light switch went off and we want to start trying but we have to wait at least until I finish law school. I have had very odd periods all year (probably stress from law school). Anyways... I prepped for a BFP in Feb but got a BFN and was pretty disappointed.

I took a test again today because no AF, but again a BFN. I know we just need to decide to wait or decide to start NTNP. But we easily fall into wanting everything to be perfect/accomplished first.

(This is also my first post but I have lurked quite a bit this year.)

Same boat here. I had my son 9 months ago and I am not on birth control. My periods are still kind of wacky but they are fairly regular again. Last month I though for sure I was KU but I got my period right on time. Oh well.

We definitely were not trying since I'm on BC so I was really shocked when AF didn't show.  But still BFNs and no AF so who really knows what is going on?!?  Only time will tell I suppose but at least DH and I are on the same page...excited if we were and okay if we weren't as planned! lol

Agree!  I am on Heather which is mini-pill but I know there are many reasons outside of being pregnant. I usually ovulate late anyway when I was checking my BBT as a means of NTTGP but have been "regular" while on the pill.

I just wanted to see if anyone hadn't necessary planned on getting KU, thought they might be and so got used to the idea, just to have BFN's and now have BOTB.  Confusing, I know!
