The way my appetite has been lately, coupled with the foods my body is allowing me to tolerate I wouldnt be surprised at all about that kinds of weight gain. I just decided to stay off the scale for now. Im hoping this week is better for me.
This was me to an extent, although I overindulged and wasn't very health conscious. I gained 50-55 lbs. Anyways, enjoy your pregnancy, make healthy food choices and don't worry too much about the weight gain. A lot of my gain was also water weight because I also lost so much weight right away and I was within 15 lbs of my pre-pregnancy weight within a couple weeks. I didn't know I had so much water in me because I wasn't all that swollen, but I am tall and can hide it well I guess.JessicaxLynn87 said:With LO #1, I gained 60 lbs. It did not matter what I did, I constantly gained. I am very health conscious and I stayed stressed the entire pregnancy because I ate healthy and exercised daily, yet I continued to gain at every appointment. I was blessed to have wonderful doctors who told me to not even worry about it. Upon leaving the hospital, I lost 30 lbs. I believe half of it was water weight! Anyways, I am trying to tell you to please not concern yourself with weight gain. You are pregnant! Embrace everything and do not beat yourself up over weight gain. It's so trivial in the end! I promise you won't be thinking about that weight gain when you are holding that precious baby in your arms. I wish I had not stressed with my first pregnancy. I promised myself that I would not let the number on the scale bother me this second time around.
