I'm a head custodian at an elementary school. I plan to work as long as possible. Once I reach a point where I feel I can't anymore I plan on quitting.

Pharmacy Technician, in school to become a pharmacist. Plus I also own my own business on Etsy, making geeky wine glass charms. So my shop is what I'll be attending to while out on ML.
Probably only 3-4 weeks at most. My boss doesn't offer paid Maternity leave and Nevada doesn't have government funded temporary pregnancy disability insurance, so I really shouldn't even be taking off that much time. But I think I'm going to need it.
Who will be taking care of your baby? Daycare facilities can't accept a child until six weeks of age.
My mother has agreed to watch the baby during the short 8 hours I'm at work each day, until the baby is old enough for daycare. However, I may talk to my boss about possibly bringing the baby with me to work, I can keep it in my office, away from harm, and strap a baby monitor to myself. Fortunately, we are just a small time compound pharmacy with no real heavy foot traffic and nothing really to harm baby. :-)
However, my hubby wants me to be a SAHM and just work my business, however, unless he gets a rather large raise, or my business starts pulling in $1.5k/month at leats, or we get a good chunk of money handed to us;I don't see how that's possible

I'm a pharmacist and worked part time at a compounding pharmacy where I took my baby a couple times when she was brand new!
Administrative assistant for a local power company. I am a contractor working for that company so no pto for me. I will probably just take 6 weeks off then go back to work. DH may take a week of vacation but we haven't decided yet.
I'm a preschool teacher and we only get 6 weeks. However, I'm thinking about looking into short term disability and want to take 8. The unpaid two will be tough but worth it
I'm a pediatric physical therapist. I would love to take 12 weeks off, and I am praying for pregnancy without bedrest. Bedrest for my first two babies made 12 weeks off impossible since I was using my FMLA at the front end. I know this is my last baby, so I want to enjoy every moment!!!
Our family is growing by two feet and we couldn't be happier!
I'm a civil engineer and plan to take as much time as I possible can. I'm guessing that will be 12 weeks. Although when I discusses maternity leave with HR last year (per pregnancy) they told me max leave was 6-8 wks. But I believe they're required to allow me to take 12. We will see :-)
I am a veterinary assistant at a private clinic. Things are tight so I will be working until I can't anymore and jumping back in as soon as I possibly can. No monies is no bueno. Fortunately my hubby has a decent schedule that we can juggle home care ourselves and I'm pretty sure my boss will be very flexible with that as well.
I am a full time licensed massage therapist. I work on 6 people a day, so I'm wondering how I will work in the later months if I have a lot of pain like I do already. I have signed up for short term disability which gives me 6 weeks off or 8 weeks with c-section. I wish I could take 12 weeks off. Not sure how to make that happen.
