I woke up to a post on my facebook about how drinking okra infused water would cure my diabetes.  I mean, comethefuckon.  If there really was a cure, don't you think every single person with diabetes would be all over that shit?  It's not like we're doing this for fun!  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So he sits up and now DD is outside doing chalk in fenced in patio and she's playing loud. He has the audacity to say "umm do you think you go check on her, she's loud." I say "nope, she's fine. She's playing, but you can." So then I move giant area rug to outside to vacuum and shampoo. He says he will., fine great, he plugs it in and he cord doesn't reach. I say "try over here" he says "I think I can handle it by myself." Okay douche, I see how today's going to go. So then I tell him the dog has to be at vet at 1:30 right during nap time and I need to get a urine sample. He goes "did you see I put a bowl out for you to get the pee." Seriously dude you are this close to not making it through the day. Seriously leave me the hell alone. I'm shocked I haven't snapped yet... Happy Monday

I think you need to escape for an hour to today.  Have any "errands" that you need to run (alone)?

My anxiety is so bad. It's always been bad but lately it's really bad. I keep having to calm myself down. Lots of prayer going on over here today. Maybe I should piss someone off and when they say they are going to pray for my husband and children I should ask them to pray for my anxiety? I need all the help I can get

DH will be home this weekend and that will definitely help. I think some of this high anxiety has to do with that!

@FhSTA81 I'm so sorry your day is off to such a horrible start! Yikes, I agree an "errands" run is in order.

Mine doesn't even compare but since we are all sharing....

Our drywall for the basement DH is finishing was delivered this morning. We paid Lowes extra for delivery giving them the dimensions of our stairs to the basement. "No problem at all" We were told. Well so far DH has had to take the railing off our stairs, move our washer and dryer (essentially making it useless) and take out half of the framing in our basement. All while listening to the Lowe's guys complain about how long this is all taking and asking us if they can just leave the 82 sheets of drywall in the driveway. Um no. If they can't find a way to get it down there, then take it back to the store! I made them all breakfast while DH was removing everything as a way to bribe them into helping... it seems to have worked so far. Ugh I hate home renovations!! HGTV makes it look so easy

Awesome. I do biomedical research on type-2 diabetes. I guess I should be looking at okra?

My b*tch for the morning - Our Department just hired an awesome admin after having a pill of a woman for three years. Our (unionized) University is making staffing cutbacks, so she is set to be laid off and a more senior person (whom we don't know) put in her place. Never mind that we just invested 7 weeks in finding the person we want and she left her job for this job. UGHHHHH.

This kind of stuff makes DH and I so angry! It's called doing your job. Those guys were just looking for an easy way out! Obviously Lowes said it was ok, so it is ok, those guys just don't want to do it. So infuriating. I feel your pain.

DH and I went to Kennywood last night, which is an amusement park near Pittsburgh. We had bought season passes last November before I obviously was pregnant (black Friday special). There isn't much there I can ride now (which kills me because i LOVE roller coasters), but we went to eat all of the good food and walk around and ride a few little rides.

This park must be OVERLY cautious because they literally had the no pregnancy signs on EVERYTHING. Like even the most ridiculous rides. For example, one ride is an indoor, slow-moving boat ride called "Garfield's Adventure." (think an old time tunnel of love type ride). You sit there in extremely slow moving water, it's not jerky or rocky or anything, and wear 3D glasses and look at stupid Garfield paintings on the wall.

On the sign it said you couldn't ride if you were pregnant. Even my extremely overly cautious DH thought it was ridic so we rode it. I posted a pic on my fb of me by the sign with the caption  "I totally rode this..such a rebel." I woke up to SO MANY comments on my fb wall about how I'm endangering my child and I need to calm down. This is from people who live in the area and know what kind of ride it is. It SERIOUSLY pissed me off because it made me feel like an awful mother-to-be and I would NEVER ride it if I thought there was the slightest chance it would hurt the baby.

My second bitch is that I still haven't felt the baby move and I'm freaking the f out. I know, I know it is still somewhat early, but it's freaking me out and after the comments I woke up to (see above post) I feel like this is karmas way of telling me I did something wrong. Idk I'm crazy this morning.

I found out yesterday morning 10 minutes before the doorbell rings, that we are dog sitting for my in-laws. Which we should, they watch our dog whenever we need them to. But thanks for informing me, DH.
He woke up with a fever so as soon as they drop the dog off he goes to urgent care. So everyone leaves and the dog pisses on the carpet. I put him out, clean the carpet, decide to give him a bath because MIL smokes and he smells awful. He's such a sweetheart. But then he gets out of the bath and sprays AGAIN. FML. And DH is being no help because he's sick.
I want to let the dog in because he's been outside alone, but I really don't want to clean up pee all week long.

Bitching about myself because I'm freaking out. My appetite isn't the same and I hardly eat anymore. Everyone keeps saying I'm too tiny to be 20 weeks. I know baby boy is fine because he is kicking up a storm and I'm able to find his HB on doppler. My anatomy scan is tomorrow and I'm just terrified that something is going to be wrong. Prayers that baby is fine!

Back story, I have chronic back problems and usually have a relatively high tolerance for pain and pills to make it better, which I can't touch now!

Pulled a muscle in my back Wednesday morning. Pain ranges from a 5-9.9 and there is not a damn thing I can do about it! Heat, ice, and Tylenol. Nooooo relief! I have gone to urgent care and the ER since then. Felt bad on the way to ER because I hadn't shaved, or washed my hair for that matter, poor nurse. Yeaahhhh she was my DH's cousin! Oops, sorry! She did monitor baby and he is ok!

It hurts to sit or lay, awesome! I am ready to be a sleep deprived zombie in November! The only thing that brings some relief is a bath, yeah like 8 a day!

My house is trashed, we have no groceries, my clothes are dirty, and I'm sick of being trapped in this house!!!!

I had an A/S scheduled but due to some minor complications, they sent me in early just to make sure everything was ok. Not only were we somewhat worried, but were still excited for our big 20 weeks A/S to see how much he had grown.

We get there and luckily everything was fine, he was just breech (for now), HOWEVER, the ENTIRE time we were there we weren't able to focus on our LO. The tech talked NON STOP about how people were pissing her off all day and how she went to the dollar store and people wouldn't watch their kids and they were on welfare and they were only concerned with the cigarettes being 50% off. When I would interject and ask where the face was (breech doesn't give such fabulous pictures:/), she wouldn't point it out, she would just say "It's right there. So how much do you guys make a year? Do you qualify for WIC? This country is insane"

And this happened the ENTIRE visit. We got 4 pictures, 3 of which I have no idea what I'm looking at & I was so sad when we left bc it was SUPER impersonal

I'm sorry that you had to go through that.   However, I would call the office to ask for another with a new tech.   You are paying for it and deserve to get at least a decent one.

sheesh.....I did that once and almost fell asleep.  ha ha ha!!!      I took SD to a public pool Friday after work and they have a slide.  There is a sign saying no pregnant people,  or people with heart conditions can use it.   I did it 3 times.     I am very obviously pregnant,  but the lifeguards didn't try to stop me      

I doubt I will go to Kennywood this year though.   Even though the potato patch fries would be worth it......I just don't want to see the rollercoasters if I cannot ride them.

I swear, you have to stay SO on top of those people.  They just try to get away with whatever they can.  I'm straight up mean to them usually.  I hate to have to do it, but otherwise they take advantage of me, I don't know if it's because I'm a woman or what.

I HATE our old apartment complex.  I swear, never rent from Camden if you can help it.  They charged us over $2000 to get out of our lease, after we had already had to move apartments due to excessive noise.  Now they are trying to say our cats clawed up the carpet, which they did a little, but the carpets were already in bad shape due to the dog that lived there before us.  And we had to pay a nonrefundable pet deposit, and the carpets need to be replaced anyway.

I am NOT paying a dime more to that company.  

I'm writing a shitty Yelp review in a few months (to add the the one one-star review they already have that was posted AFTER we moved in).  You'd think a "luxury apartment complex" would do better.

@kyliedaniellexx‌ I'm sorry you're frustrated, pregnancy bills are terrible anxiety causing monsters no matter how well off (or not) you are.

@ClrkKntismyAE‌ so they just trust their dog to stay in their yard when they have no containment at all? That isn't safe for the public or the dog! If it gets to be an issue (sounds like it is) I would say something.

Hugs to everyone! Sounds like everyone is having a crappy Monday so far.

My bitch involves my puppy as well. So, she is 6 months old and is in the middle of her first heat. Joy this is the first time ever I have had an animal go into heat, so it's all new to me. I read up on some of the things that can happen during a heat and I thought I was prepared...

One of the things is increased urine output.

So yesterday morning I was taking her out of her of her kennel and was carrying out to the dog run and she had the biggest pee all over me.

Then last night we got back from a concert and I was taking her out before bed and the same thing. Totally soaked in dog pee. I have never seen so much pee come out of her all at once.

Hopefully her cycle is almost over and I can not get peed on anymore.

My DH said our dog is preparing me for when the baby arrives. Joy

4. Someone was kidnapped out side my work last night. Fml!

6. I'm so fucking hungry!!! And nothing is hitting the spot.
7. My most annoying family member ever is staying at my house and I want to put a mussle on him. He such a sexest ass hole. And if he tells me to get him a beer one more time I'm gonna stab someone!

Then last night we got back from a concert and I was taking her out before bed and the same thing. Totally soaked in dog pee. I have never seen so much pee come out of her all at once.

Hopefully her cycle is almost over and I can not get peed on anymore.

My DH said our dog is preparing me for when the baby arrives. Joy

Sounds like a great reason to get that puppy spayed!

My bitching is minor compared to some of these doozies!  I have a three day, never ending, monster headache.  Sometimes its behind my eyes, sometimes on the top of my head, its annoying.   Im so miz right now!!!
