Am I doing this wrong?

We started using our OS pockets this weekend because Colin is a chub - and all my covers were drying on the line so flats were useless.
He isn't even on the smallest hip snap to have a good fit around the legs. But I noticed there is a bit of a mark from the leg elastic when I take the diaper off. Is that bad?
It doesn't feel skin tight on him, but does not leak, and I think the next hip snap bigger would gap and leak. Are elastic marks on the skin normal?

totally normal, as long as it goes away pretty easy. Think of it like how you would get marks from a pair of socks or an elastic waist band. If he is acting like he is in pain when you touch it then it's too tight, but it sounds like you have it perfectly.
