What were you awesome at this week?

LEMSA

M did amazing watching the 2 US World Cup games in a public place. He cried a bit when US scored with all the cheering, but no one noticed. He calmed easily. He is such a trooper and does really well in crowds.

We also finally bought tix to ND, and will drive to Canada with friends and spend 5 days out there fishing and just having fun.

Otherwise, just getting ready for a long work week. Can't wait to be done with this FTjob and just have 2 PT jobs.

Got the invitations mailed for LO's birthday party and the cake mostly taken care of.  

DH and I set up our new patio furniture.

DH & I had a good long talk about some frustrations that have been building for both if us. We aired a lot of things out & are working on our communication in this crazy thing called parenting. I feel 1000 times better after our talk.

Stayed at home all weekend and caught up on laundry. Also after a big blowup fight last week me and DH are doing tons better.

Yesterday LO fell asleep on the way home from a friend's house, and I managed to move her from the car seat to her bed, and somehow she still took a 3 hour nap after this process (which never happens with a car seat transition).
