Protocol question: Femara(Letrozole) + Bravelle + IUI

Hi everyone! I am not expecting yet, but we are about to start a relatively aggressive IUI cycle as I was dx with DOR last week at the age of 26. I was curious if anyone here had a similar protocol and ended up pregnant with twins. 

I will be starting letrozole on day 2, and take 2.5mg for 5 days. On day 3 they are adding in 150iu of bravelle, and we will continue that til its time to trigger. We will then do IUI. We are obviously trying to prepare ourselves mentally for any pregnancy, but especially for the possibility of twins. Thank you so much! And congratulations

I'm sorry for the diagnosis first off, that has to be tough. We did Femera only with no other meds and second cycle we are expecting twin girls. My only dx is PCOS though. They told me with PCOS twins were very unlikely but here we are! Good luck and mentally prepare yourself for multiples just in case.

Thanks. I was so devastated to put it nicely. I dont think I ate or slept for 3 days after finding out. However, now I am just ready to get 'er done. I think if this cycle doesnt work we will be moving onto IVF. Just because we have coverage and it makes sense with my dx. Congrats on your twin girls!

We did femara and bravelle with iui (our 8th) and had 4 follies mature. We went ahead based on my history. We did get pregnant with a singleton but it didn't stick. I hope you get a good response. I had the fewest side effects on that protocol too.

We did IUI with Letrozole and Ovidrel for the trigger. I got my BFP with 1 follicle that was mature and another one that was close to maturity (honestly forget the numbers). I honestly was hoping for twins but we are pregnant with a singleton. I am glad it finally worked because our next step was IVF. Good luck to you!

I don't know if this is helpful, but I got pregnant with our twins with 5mg Femara and then four days of 150iu Follistim + Ovidrel trigger. I only had one mature and one almost mature follicle. Good luck

We are mfi and got pg on my second Femara iui. I was on 7.5 mg for 5 days, no trigger. I am pg with twins and I also had a 3rd sac that didn't develop.

It was about my 8th (maybe, I lost count) iui; 3 clomid, 3 menopur (possibly, I had lots of cancelled cycles with menopur), 2 Femara.
