UPDATE. Baby Elijah arrived at 1:16 pm on June 22. 10 pounds even (that was not expected) and 21.5 inches long. Baby doing great and I only had one minor tear. Just got home today and struggling with baby blues a little. Will post birth story later. Thanks everyone for reading and being there, even when I didn't post as much. This board has been great.

I know I don't post as much as a lot but I do read almost every post and have been on the board from the beginning. I was too swamped at work trying to work tons of extra comp time hours that I didn't get in on the labor buddy sign ups.

I was due yesterday and didnt think it would happen, but at 7ish last night I was having cramping and contractions were regular. At 10ish, I went upstairs to plug my phone in and start timing them. When my husband came to bed around 11:30, they were 5-6 minutes apart and lasting about a minute to minute and a half and getting uncomfortable. I called the
Dr and they said to come get checked. Was 4 cm and in labor when I got in and checked around 2. Got epidural at 4:30ish and contractions slowed so was started on pitocin at 6:30. I'm excited and scared. This is #3 so I know what to expect, but still feeling a little scared. Been in labor about 13 hours so far. Hoping for lunch time squish arrival. Hope you all don't mind this post here. Thanks for being such a great and funny board. I wish I had started
