I'm 7dpIUI#4.  I POAS today, thinking I would test out the trigger.  But then I decided I'm not going to because it will make me crazy.  Instead, I'll test Friday morning (DH's birthday) without telling him, because that's his birthday - in the hopes of giving him that awesome present. 

QOTW:  I was just talking about this with my husband.  Alanis Morissette's You Oughta Know.. Forever I thought the line was "It's not fair to deny me, or the cross-eyed bear that you gave me."  Then I realized it was "the cross-eyed glare that you gave me."  Only to learn (today) that it's "of the cross I bear that you gave to me."

I used to think it was the cross eyed bear too! I temember conversations from 7th grade discussing those lyrics lol. It's funny because we were just talking today too with my family about how I always get lyrics wrong. My sister and I were singing that song "I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller," etc. and we said "I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat and a SIX FOOT FATHER" and my DH started laughing and told us it was "a six four impala".. Obviously our way made NO sense, but that's how we've been singing it since we were little, LOL!!!

As for IF treatment, I'm still on BCP for IVF. I'll find out what the next steps are at my appt this Thursday.

Hey. My period is due in a week if this natural cycle didn't work. Then we'll finally be able to start our first IUI. I've refused to even buy a test until I've missed AF cuz I know I'll be a mess if its negative.

I was just laughing about messed up song lyrics with my sister and dad. My sis and I were hanging out and singing that song that goes "you can go your own way" I think it's by Fleetwood Mac. We called my dad up because we thought the next lines "you can call it thunder..." and something else. He laughed and told us it was "you can call it just another day" or something like that. It's funny how you can go your whole life thinking you know something and be totally wrong lol.

I'm in the 2WW - one down, one to go. I plan to test Fri or Sat morning. I've had tons of energy the past few days, when I would usually be in a nauseous, napping slump due to progesterone peaking, and I wonder if it could be the Estrace?

QOTW: From Little Mermaid, "How many wonders can this cavern hold" was too linguistically advanced for my 3-year-old self, so I turned it into "can one ever hold." Sorry it's not very funny, but I was singing it in the shower today so it's on my mind.

I don't know what I'm doing right now. After the IVF we ended up with 10 frozen that made it to blastocyst. I'm waiting in the results of genetic testing. I should know this week. Of course I started my period today so I've got to call my RE tomorrow and start prepping for FET assuming we have some good ones.

QOTW. I honestly can't think off the top of my head of songs that I change the words besides the Elton John song that phoebe from friends ruined for me "hold me closer now Tony Danza"

AFM, I am still just waiting around this cycle.  I think this cycle is going to be really long, so I don't really expect AF until well into July. 

QOTW:  When the Train song "Soul Sister" came out I could never understand the line "Like a virgin, you're Madonna".  I always heard "Like a bird in your vagina"  MH always got a kick out of me singing that.

Good luck all! I'm on Cd 2, getting ready for my first round with letrozole & an hsg. So far, the diagnosis is pcos... Still have a few an AMH test coming back and a few others scheduled, DH has his SA on Tuesday. We've been trying since January 2012. Instead of "take me down to paradise city", I thought it was "take me down to the very last city". Until about two years ago when DH caught me singing the wrong lyrics.

@CaterinaC‌ to be honest I totally thought that song said "sail away" until I read your post. Ha! Oops...now I know!

Finally made it to CD1 after several days of cramps and I am sooooo excited. DH and I were on vacation at the beginning of last cycle so we had to have a natural one. I thought there was no way I would ovulate without meds, but I did! Baseline u/s is Wednesday and I'll be set to go again with clomid 200mg. Woot woot!

QOTW: The most recent one I can think of is "Turn down for what". I was pretty sure it said, "five to nine ain't nothing but the shots"....turns out it says, "fire up that loud another round of shots"

I guess I thought they were just drinking really hard in the early evening?

I got benched on Friday when my IVF cycle was cancelled.  I will be on Estrace and then Prometrium for July and hoping for another attempt at IVF in August.

I am on day 14 of 21 of BCPs - so still prepping for IVF #1.  I had my mock transfer, ute measurement, SHG and IVF teaching this past Thursday.  Everything looks clear.  My next appointment is on Monday for my baseline u/s and blood work.  That will also be my last day of BCPs.

So I started bleeding 6dp5dt and RE moved beta up to today, 7dp5dt--it was 11, so I'm in beta bell, still bleeding, waiting for repeat beta Wednesday. With the horror show bleeding I'm doubting that anything is still in my ute, but the did transfer 3 so I guess it's possible bug not probable. On the positive side, if this is a CP, it means I can actually get pregnant, and this is the closest I've been. I guess at least I found the bright side!!

I am on CD 8 of an iui cycle. I am having my ultra sound Thursday, and then hopefully I will get the ok to trigger. My iui should be Friday or Saturday.

There are lots of songs that I have mixed up the lyrics too, but I can't think of any specifics right now.......

I'll sort of re-intro in this post.

Hormone imbalance (me), H bad morphology and low count after wash.
4. What treatments are you doing?
I'm on progesterone and bromocriptine. H was just prescribed Clomid.

H is not taking Clomid because his doctor and our insurance are still hashing things out. It's been a week now. I guess it's ok because we both currently have a virus and aren't to into baby making at the moment. If we don't hear back soon we'll have to give things a push.

Both my doc and his want H on Clomid for 3/4 cycles. If not pg by then H goes in for another SA to see how much Clomid helps. And my doc talked about possibly putting me on Clomid too.

As of now Hs count after wash isn't worth the oop cost for IUI. So our choices as of now are meds and sex, or IVF. We aren't ready for IVF. We are still youngish (turning 30 by 2015) so we still have time according to our doctors.

Super late to the check in this week, I've been busy and now on vacation so not getting online much. Still on a break of sorts, in 3 weeks we have our consult with the new RE where we hope to do IVF. QOTW: not my own, but DH and I always joke and say "blinded by the light, wrapped up like a douche and chasing pooter in the night." I think it's "revved up like a deuce another runner in the night."

- What treatments are you doing? Currently 10dpiui in a Letrozole/Ovidrel cycle. IUI 4.1

I had very light spotting yesterday morning and this morning, cramping since Sunday. I would like to be optimistic and believe that this is implantation, but I'm feeling really discouraged.

Beta is next Monday, June 30. I have been going "beta or bust" but I think that this time I may test at home on Sunday (14dpiui) so that I can give myself time to emotionally process the results at home before the work week.

QOTW:  As a kid, there were several songs to which I would make up my own words, even if I knew the right ones. It's just more fun.  More recently, my favorite change was to Florence + The Machine's "Dog Days are Over":  The line "Leave all your love and your longing behind, You can't carry it with you if you want to survive." I prefer to sing as "Leave all your love and your LAUNDRY behind!"
