Green poop

My LO is 2.5 months old. He used to have a squishy mustard yellow poop, but for the past week, it has switched to a squishy bright green poop. My pediatrician didn't seem concerned, he said poop can come in all sorts of colors, but after reading on here for a while I'm starting to think he has a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. If he does, is this going to hurt him? What issues to the the baby can an imbalance cause?

Re: Green poop

  • I've BF 3 kids, and they've all had green poop at one time or another. It can happen if they're sick, teething, and lots of reasons. If it continues for another week or so, or there's a major change in the number of them I'd contact your doctor again. GL!
