Calgon...extra suds?

So because of my hard water I've started adding Calgon to my wash routine (with Tide) and I'm noticing I'm getting a ton of suds in the wash now. I'm curious if Calgon is just sudsy (didn't think it would be) or if it's detergent build up on the diapers coming off? Anyone else notice this?
