I had a vag ultrasound on Wednesday and started some pretty heavy spotting however it tapered off on Thursday. Thursday evening I started vag progesterone suppositories, Endometrin. I take 2 doses a day, and the spotting had picked back up significantly. Is this common? Or should I put a call in to the RE? The color is what I can only describe as mauve. ( not bright red, but not brown old blood either. ) I'm trying not to panic, but if this is cause for concern I don't want to be too nonchalant either.

I had some spotting like what you describe from the Endometrin. It was from the irritation of the application and vag tabs. If the spotting continues,I wouldn't be "worried" but would mention to the doctor at your next appointment. Or if it is bright in color... call now.

My RE warned me that after my last u/s I may have spotting afterwards. I was on endometrin for about 9 weeks and only had brown spotting. I hope it's just from the u/s wand... Hope the spotting has subsided!

For the first couple of days with every fresh dose of Endometrin, it would be followed by this spotting. So I decided not to insert so high up, and that seemed to have helped significantly.
