Sippies between meals

How does your LO take sippies (whether of water, milk, or whatever) between meals?

A follow up question: what does LO drink between meals?

I leave a sippy cup of ice water near her play area. She comes and grabs a drink from time to time. Sometimes she just carries it around with her. I've never seen her drink it all at once.

Between meals, LO usually likes to drink a little, put it somewhere like the table, then come back for more when ready. He usually drinks water between meals but occasionally milk. (He usually drinks milk with meals and after waking/before bed.)

I usually have a cup if water around for him, but often I need to offer it to him for him to drink. He doesn't go to it on his own very often. I only do milk at his high chair because he still thinks it's fun to get a big mouthful of liquid and let it dribble down his chin. Water I can just do a quick swipe and let dry.

We keep a sippy of water on the coffee table. She comes and grabs a sip whenever she likes. Milk at meals, and occasionally in between, especially when she doesn't seem to have an appetite for solids and I know she needs the extra calories

I leave lidded cups filled with water all day long for both boys. They drink whenever they are thirsty. I don't give anything but water in between meals.

I always leave a sippy of water out. I want to prevent dehydration as much as possible.

Milk she gets it in one setting. But I leave a water sippy out at all times

He just takes sips as the day goes on when he wants it, I usually top it up with ice periodically to keep it cool. Sometimes I will pass it to him just to remind him to drink some. He drinks water in between meals but still has a bottle half way through the day. I'm really hoping to be able to get him to drink enough milk out of his sippy that I can drop the bottle, he is just way more interested in water.

We do milk mixed with formula (still transitioning) in bottles. I tried it in sippy cups and that wasn't happening. But she does drink water from her sippy all day long. I leave it out and offer it to her throughout the day also.
