I'm getting so frustrated.
I have a long story, but I need some advice or maybe somebody who's experienced somewhat of the same thing to give some feedback..
I am 18 years old, but I got married last July to my childhood sweet heart. Yes I know I'm young, but when you know, you know! I will be 19 in a couple weeks. Anyway, I got pregnant for the first time November 2013 unexpectedly. My husband and I were soo excited as it was our first and naturally we told everyone as soon as I got that positive test. But, I miscarried at 10 weeks (baby stopped developing at 6 weeks) and we were seriously so heart broken. It was the worst experience of my life and I never wanted it to happen again.
But we got pregnant again in March of this year (not trying not preventing) and only told a few close friends as we were afraid of miscarrying again. Well, at 6 weeks sure enough I miscarried. We decided to completely stop trying for a while.
Buuut to our COMPLETE surprise, I got pregnant again around the end of May. Everything was going great and I had more symptoms than ever before. I was so healthy and doing everything right and felt good about this one.. But today, again, I miscarried at 6 weeks.
I don't get it. I'm only 18, how is this happening!? I'm extremely healthy and active and have never had any medical problems and miscarriages don't run in the family. However, I am gluten intolerant and I've heard that can cause miscarriages, especially if you haven't been gluten free for a long time.
Can anybody PLEASE give me some insight here? I'm really desperate for answers (before I spend a ton of money running tests with the doctor).
Re: Third miscarriage in a row... HELP.
3 specialists told me that you need give your body at least 2 full cycles post miscarriage before starting to try again. This is because it can take 8 weeks for the hormones to be out of your system, you must use back up protection. You also need let your uterine liner build back up so it's sticky.
We discovered one of the reasons I miscarried was bc I have a fibroid. If you do the "water test" (Not painful) it shows your uterus very clearly and can tell your doctor if there are any fibroids. If so that can block implantation. Fibroids are covered by insurance.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I've been through a lot of genetic testing and can explain it all in more detail.
