I cannot believe I'm asking this. By I borrowed some flats from a friend. What folds do you like? For a NB? For a toddler? Also... They are tie dyed, so if I can get up the courage to try them, expect some flaunting y'all!

I liked the origami fold, but it didn't work for G. Our favorite has been the (diaper) bag fold. I'm useless for help with the tiny.

I use mini kite fold. I think I might practice my diaper bag fold a bit this weekend though, I like that you can pre fold that one and have it ready - it stays pretty nice.

I pre-fold the kite fold and sit them in my diaper cart. Does this not work for some folds?

Oh yeah. TJ. I don't recommend origami-M looked like a sumo wrestler when I used this one. Waaaaay too skinny between the legs

I prefolded some mini kites for my diaper bag and it didn't stay in shape very well, I basically had to refold it for use. But maybe I just stored it poorly in the bag.

Mini/modified kite for for itty bittys. Origami from 8 months to around 23 pounds. Now we use diaper bag, and sometimes add an FST as a doubler.

When carrying spare folded flats in the diaper bag, I have fastened the covers around them and/or used my spare diaper pins to hold them closed and keep them from unfolding. I used diaper bag fold mostly too since that fit ds the best of the pinned folds that I know.

We started out liking the modified kite fold.  When the wings started to seem a little too far apart we switched to the diaper bag fold.  The first couple folds on that one can be done to various sizes depending on the baby.  If you do it right you shouldn't have to jelly roll the legs or do much tucking around the gussets, which I love!

Thanks @Mapleme‌ ! I'd been modifying the kite.fold but it was so bulky and this is much better! Not that bulk matters but I hoped there was a trimmer way.
