Early U/S Question (what is that?)

I have never posted on this site but been a member for a while.  I had a quick ? if you ladies dont mind.  I had an U/S done at 9w4d.  I am now 16w5d but its so bugging me and wanted to know if any of you ladies had one that looked similar?  This is my 3rd pregnancy so this is new for me.  Its a view of babies head and just wondering what the 'extra' black hole to the right is?  I know I haven't ever posted, but would appreciate any feedback. Thank you

To me that seems like a separate pregnancy .. But I imagine your doctor would have said something if that was the case.

Like PP said I imagine if it was a second pregnancy something would have been mentioned to you... maybe it's a cyst? We're not really qualified to give you an answer, at most we are making guesses like you probably are. I would ask your doctor what it is.

Here's my 7.5 week ultrasound pic. The tech said my uterus was just in a contraction that was squishing the sac. Not like a labor/miscarriage contraction, she said that in early pregnancy the uterus goes through small contractions as it grows and stretches. You can see it looks like a separate sac on the left, it was all connected, just looks separate on the pic because of the angle/depth the pic was captured at.
I've had 2 ultrasounds since then (NT scan & AS), everything is perfect.

Is it your bladder? I'm surprised you've waited 7 weeks and still haven't asked your OB.

Sorry ladies.  I called and asked my drs office the next day after the U/S. The nurse just said if he saw a concern he would have said so.  I literally have not seen him since only the nurse.  I will/should see him at my next appt which is in 2 weeks.  So I did call and ask but didn't get any answers.  Also me and the nurse had 'words' about her reply b/c she was so not nice about it!  At the time of the u/s I didn't really pay much attention b/c I was a threatened misscarriage and was just over the moon that my baby had a heartbeat.  It wasn't until later when I watched the video with my daughter that I noticed the big blob or I would have asked him then....

I has something similar and they said its perfectly normal .. I was scared too.
