Feeling of relief

Had my 7 week ultrasound and everything looks great. Good, strong heartbeat. I know that things can happen (and do), but it was relief to me. I don't remember being so worrisome about my first two pregnancies, but this time around I am older (35) and I find myself worrying about everything!

I was the same way with this one. Until I saw that heartbeat I was a nervous wreck. So glad it went well

Congrats! I had my first three in my 20s and it never occurred to me to be worried. This time I worry constantly! The first trimester was tense.

Congratulations!! I was shocked when I had a scan at 10 weeks and suddenly there were arms and legs kicking and waving, and a good strong heartbeat - I had a few tears of relief myself. It's my first pregnancy to get this far, so I totally understand your trepidation.  Its funny how the age concerns make us worry so much...I wish they'd stop referring to me as  a geriatric pregnancy (how old does that make me sound). 34 is ok, but 35 is fraught with worry - sounds like you are a good strong woman and have all the experience that age gives us to make you a wonderful mum this time around too!

Congratulations, it will be a very exciting scan for you next time too!
