In light of hoshikitsune's trials, tribulations, and insurmountable circumstances, I am spearheading a donation drive for her.
I would like to submit a 3mm lint ball, a three-strip of condoms, and 1.5 shits. I hope you can all find it in your hearts to donate as well.
Re: @hoshikitsune donation thread
I'll give 2 shits cuz I'm feeling generous.
This shall be my first contribution of many, I hope.
She has no problem with someone else's prescription for BC, I'm sure she can find a use for my license.
ETA - It's even in her field, so it'll be even easier for her to turn it down.
I won't be donating anything, nothing could possibly help anyhow. Plus, I'm all out of fucks to give.
ETA: I changed my mind. I'll donate a pack of ramen.
To go along with @mrscurlygurl I will donate 2 (but not more than 2!) percs from my post c section stash. She's going to need them wokring 3 days pp.
Baby G born 6/6/14, 37 weeks 1 day due to preeclampsia. 5lb12oz 19"
#2 due Christmas 2016.
I will donate this advice-
Hoshi- You said you spend 14 hours per day looking for a job. There are 24 hours in a day. Plus I am feeling nice so I am sorry you are going through all of this but you have to get it together!
I also read the discussions & replies she's had in other threads & it was mentioned about her husband buying "frivolous" things such as a punching bag & gloves & spends all his extra time on the computer... blah blah blah. Sounds like they cant be that broke.
I just donated my time & energy to look into this. That has to be worth something to her since all she wants is people to say wah for her & give her the attention her husband doesnt.

Mommy to R (8.23.11) and K (6.21.14).
Awww how sweet, thank you all.
3mm lint ball: That will help come November when starting fires in the fire place after we finish cutting down the tree in the back yard. We actually use our dryer lint to help start those.
3 strip of condoms: That will be helpful too, if I ever let him touch me again after giving birth. However, I did talk with that OB at the 34 week appointment and they told me Medicaid will cover an IUD, which I will be fully utilizing.
1.5 shits: That will help come November as well. Back in the Conestoga wagon days they did use dung to start fires.
Library cards: I am pretty sure they are free, however if not, thank you.
GIF: Not sure what movie that is from, but it did bring a smile. Thank you.
Hospital bag packing checklist: I can always add to the one that I have been writing out. Thank you.
Teaching license in History: Bring it on, I could totally use it. However, with it not being in my name, that might be a minor problem and then it depends on which state is in and whether or not that state has reciprocity with my state. I have been applying to Teach for America and the counties to get into the TAPP program.
Pack of Ramen: Awesome, can always use more.
What to Expect when you’re Expecting movie: I don’t really watch movies, but I will give it a go. Gotta look up who is in it.
Entire season of Friends where Rachel is pregnant: Never really did like that show, but it would be something else to do during lunch and dinner hour.
World’s smallest violin: That would be awesome, I have a horrid singing voice and it could soothe baby.
Birth control: Thank you but Medicaid is going to cover that after the birth in the form of an IUD.
2 Pregnancy cards with change back: As long as you don’t mind waiting for the change.
Nomination for Most likely to go BSC: You might already be too late on that, it is in my genes.
Dummies Guide on How to Get Yo Shit Together: I sure hope they didn’t really use yo in the title, however, it could be some good reading and good kindling later.
Chip in for a babysitter: Thank you, but I have that part covered.
2 Percs from post c-section stash: Not sure what a perc is, but thank you.
Sriracha sauce: Not sure what that is either, but sounds like it makes ramen even tastier. Thank you.
Leftover Plan B: Thank you, but Medicaid will have that covered after birth.
Expired condoms: Pretty sure that will get me right back in current state, but I am sure they burn and I can use them come November. Thank you.
Herbs: That would be awesome, all the ones I had died when we had two ice storms back to back this winter.
Bus pass: There are no buses out where I live. A used water bottle will be fine for when I walk to the library.
Firepit: That would be nice, thank you.
Sorry that you are going through all of this but you have to get it together: Thank you, there is a reason I am trying to get a second job…so I can get it together.
Ikea bag to load up on free things from the hospital: Awesome, I had planned on doing that too. Thank you.
Time and energy: Thank you, everyone can use that.
Ramen cookbook: Awesome!!!! Thank you.
Perspective: Would be useful as well…another reason I am trying to get a second job.
Can of formula and a peri bottle: I can definitely use that. Thank you.
Big girl mesh panties: I thought I get to steal those from the hospital…however I could always use more. Thank you.
It’s My Life book: I can change if I want to: Good reading, part of the reason I am trying to get a second job.
Paying bills: I paid last month, all of them are due at the beginning of the month. I have not paid June yet, and have called them all to let them know what is going on and they sent me on to a collector.
Stomach acid: I am sure that is flammable and useful in November. Thank you.
Ladies, while I haven't posted much today, you have kept me thoroughly entertained
They can call me every day if they wish, it isn't going to make me magically be able to pay, until I come back from maternity.
Go do something productive like forage some food.
