I was 17, prom night with my high school sweetheart who I truly loved. It was a great experience and I don't regret it at all. We were together for four years. He developed a mental illness and I dumped him as it was not safe for me to be in a relationship with him anymore. His illness changed his personality so much. It is sad as I truly believed we would marry, but my safety comes first and I felt that at times he could've tried to kill himself, me or my family. He was not an abusive person- never hit me or anything, but became do unstable mentally that I had to go. I purposefully cut off all contact with him several years ago.

I was 15, he was my first major boyfriend and first love. He was much more experienced so wasn't too bad actually, and we were together off and on over the next couple of years.

I was 14 and it was with DH. He was 14 as well; both of our first time. His sister was my good friend and I was spending the night with her. DH was my on again off again boyfriend at the time, his choosing as I was as madly in love as a 14 year old could be. He came into his sister's room after she fell asleep and asked me to come with him. I did, and he took me to his room where it all went down. It wasn't really all that painful, but I do remember it didn't take very long and I did bleed afterwards. We were still on again off again for probably another 2 years before I finally told him to leave me alone I was tired of being used. A couple months later he came crawling begging and eventually I gave in. He proposed on my 18th birthday and the rest is history!

I was 16, in my car. The guy was and still is one of my really good friends. We were NOT dating at the time, but I trusted him and just wanted to get it over with. It was ok, didn't hurt, no bleeding. We never had sex again, mostly due to timing/relationships etc. We still have an awesome relationship, sometimes people take us the wrong way as we have sincere love for each other but it's strictly friendship love, nothing romantic.

I was 18 and so was he. We were hs sweethearts and he had left for the Army right after graduation. He was still in training so I went to visit him while on fall break from college, it was in a hotel room. He proposed and we did the deed but I don't remember any other details so it must not have been amazing... I broke it off with him a year later but we kept in contact all through college. I haven't spoken to him in probably 6 or 7 years now

I was 16 he was 18. We'd been dating for about a year at that point and were both virgins. We had sex on Valentine's Day in his room. It wasn't bad or painful at all. We continued dating for another year before we split then I met my now husband.

15, after Homecoming in a car parked a small-town zoo parking lot. It was a little awkward, not especially romantic, and a bit strange with the animals looking on.

14 or 15 can't really remember.  I date my then BF for 6 years so it made sense.

First boyfriend - 20 years old. It was at his house. We were playing around for awhile and just decided it was time to stop with the tease. It was painful, but got better with experience. I'm glad it was him and no one else. Happy to say I married him. I never wanted to go through dating and breaking up and I just wanted to be with one guy. It's nice to say I married my first and only love, thank God!

It was my 16th bday - he was a friend's older cousin (22 years old). We were at a house party and he spoke to me in fluent Italian, danced with me throughout the house and spoke to me about his poetry writing. I stood no chance. 

It was a great first experience and ultimately led me to studying Italian later on and also becoming fluent.
