Probably the thing DH and I "fight" the most about is when he is traveling or working a lot and cancels a date or family dinner out because he just wants to hang at home. I get it, but dude I'm home all day long and cooking for the kids every night when you're gone. Get me outta this house!!

The separate account thing is weird to me too but I get that it works for a lot of couples.  Throughout DH and my relationship, we have flip/flopped on who makes more so we've just consistently had all joint accounts.  I could see it being very beneficial though in situations where there is alimony or child support payments coming from one spouse.

@Holly_1007   I really give you props for handling and dealing with all you've got going on within your marriage, your SD/BM and having 2 boys under 5 at your age.   I think I'm almost, if not 10 years older than you and I don't think I could have handled what you deal with when I was your age.  That is really sweet of you to have found this tickets for SD, she is lucky to have you as part of her life.  I hope you have a great time and get that day in bed with bonbons for your birthday.

 Seriously our bedroom is like the dirtiest room in the house. I just can't keep it clean and so many other areas take priority. And one of my lovely dogs has a twin bed in there along with our king. And he hoards so many damn blankets that end up all over our room. Drives me crazy.

So. Funny story about our room. It's pretty bomb proof because I'm lazy as fuck. Colby gets up an hour or more before keagan so I bring him in our room and lay in bed while he runs around. This morning he realized he can reach the top drawer in the dresser. He pulled out all the condoms and put them in the trash, was dragging my vibratory around like a puppy and had a fistful of dead batteries. #momoftheyear

Sad that I'm just now catching up and missed Holly in a bikini. I feel like I could have gauged my future bikini appropriateness based on her look and the responses. Haha.

I am 5'9" with a super long torso so one piece swimsuits look stupid on me most of the time. They pull down on top and yank up around the legs so I look like a Baywatch lifeguard. But I haven't worn a bikini since having DS either.

I'm also sad I had to hop off the bump at lunch today and I'm just now back on catching up from my phone in bed. @Holly_1007‌ I'm sad I missed your picture too, but can only imagine you rocked it!

I could care less how old/young you are. If you want to wear a bikini, even if you don't look, IMO, "hot" in it I still say you're feeling better about yourself than most women so go for it.

I'm going for a girls weekend in Vegas in august and my whole goal right now is to get my body bikini ready. It never crossed my mind that it might not be appropriate to some.

Also, just got back from the lake and my 4 YO looked almost too cute in her bikini!!!

@BeebopandBuddy‌, I can completely see how having separate finances work for you and HD with the child support and stuff. Don't feel guilty though for using his card now and then. I think it's still safe to say what's yours is his and what's his is yours!
