Hi everyone! I've been lurking around here for about 2 months now. but we are not yet TTC. We are from Oklahoma. I am 26 and DH turns 27 next month and we've been married 4 1/2 years. I teach high school math and DH is finishing up certification to become a chaplain and we will start TTC when he is done and has found a job!
I have hypothyroidism (Which seems to be pretty common around here), and I also have the autoimmune disease Hashimoto's. And now after reading several posts tonight I am worried about it affecting my ability to get pregnant.
Ok, now for my questions. I read the newbie and started temping this cycle (just started using a bbt a few days ago though). My current cycle has been much longer than normal, which I know has to do with when I ovulated. Normally, my cycles are around 35 days, but I am currently on day 44 and only had a tiny bit of spotting this morning. FF had told me I O'd on CD 21, then a few days later changed it to CD 26, and today changed it to CD 35 and I'm really confused about why it keeps changing?
And my second question is that I've heard that changes in your schedule can affect your cycles. Is there any truth in that? It would explain why my cycle is different. The last day of school was on May 22nd (CD 16) and I've been enjoying my relaxing summer

Thanks everyone! I hope these aren't incredibly stupid questions, and I'm looking forward to getting more involved around here!

Re: Intro + questions
Your chart on FF can change if you get temps that are higher than the previous ones. I had one cycle where it thought I O'd on cd42 since I had some higher temps, but then on CD 48 my temp went up even more and it was a clearer shift. I would keep charting because after a few cycles you might see more similarities, also keep having sex if you are unsure of an O day.
I am not sure about your second question but I do know when I sleep in on vacation it can change my temps so try to take it at the same time! Good luck!
