Nutella. I haven't had it in forever because I am dairy free for DS2, but as soon as he is cleared I will be buying a big jar and some crumpets. That's my favourite way to eat it!

What's the difference between a crumpet and an English muffin? Or is there a difference?
Wait...Nutella and crumpets?? How did I not think of that??
It's damn near impossible to get proper crumpets here in the USA. We ended up buying some imported from England.
Trader Joes sells something they call crumpets, but they're just (American) English muffins. TJs also has something called "British Muffins" which are close to crumpets, but don't have enough holes.
We can't even find crumpet rings stateside so we can make them ourselves.
And don't even get me started on mushy peas.......
I can't wait for little girl to be big enough for cookies. The best cookies are Nutella cookies, with a dollop of Nutella on top. Too unhealthy to make for myself, but once she is old enough, they will be a main stay in the weekly cookie bake.

this logic seems weird to me. they're too unhealthy for you but you'll make them for your daughter?
I'm in Canada, and crumpets are easy to get, Walmart carries them and all the grocery stores. My dad is from England and he says they are good enough to pass.
I bought some rings and have made them several times too. I haven't made them in at least a year, I really should! I cannot remember if they have milk in them though. Hmmm.
I just wanted to come in and AW that my dad works at the Nutella factory. I have never liked Nutella though, so I see no benefit except for the bragging rights.
They also make Ferrero Rocher chocolates there - which I also don't like.

Any chance you are a fan of the author Deborah Geary? Nutella cookies are almost a main character in her books.

And Tic Tacs - which I love!
does he come home smelling chocolatey?
I'm not sure, I'll ask my mom next time I see her. I don't think he does, just because no one has ever said anything (I don't live in the same city as the rest of my family). I think he might shower at work before he comes home though, I feel like he mentioned that once.

DH dosent eat sweets. So at this point if I them, I eat them ALL! I can't let them go stial! When little girl gets big enough at least I won't have to eat the whole batch by my self.

I haven't had Nutella in probably 10 years, but I loved it when I did. DH is allergic to tree nuts and (freakishly) chocolate too, so I would eat all the Nutella. It's best that I don't go down that slippery slope and buy a jar.
