Angel care movement sensing monitor

I have one, and I love it! But this morning my husband got my 3 month old son out of the crib and I didn't know, so the movement senser didn't get turned off. So approx 15 minutes later the senser finally went off! It didn't really bother me until now. So I did some research and found out that if you have any other type of sounds or movement going on in the room it may effect the senser. I live in canada, we don't have extremely hot weather where I'm at but we do get some high temperatures. Anyway the ceiling fan was on while hubby picked him up out of his crib. The fan being on made the sensor not go off until 15 ish minutes later. I had the sensor level on 3, so I tired it up to 5, and then Tested it out with the different speeds on the ceiling fan. I can still have the fan on but not on the fastest speed. Just putting it out there for anyone who uses this product. I absolutely love the monitor!! Not saying anything negative about it. Just wanting others to know about my experience

Thanks for posting this!  I had noticed, sometimes, that the alarm didn't sound as quickly (or when) it should... but I hadn't thought about the ceiling fan!  We also have a table top fan going (for white noise mostly) so there is definitely a lot of circulating air in DD's small nursery.

I ended up changing his room around to test the sensor while having the ceiling fan on, and a small box fan in his window. After 3 tries I found a spot where I could still use the box fan and ceiling fan on low that doesn't effect the sensor! So maybe if you can try moving some things around and test it to see if the alarm still goes off when it's supposed to. I also have a small room for my son so my options were limited as to where to put things.
