Cloth Diapering

Question about traveling and stink.

Hi  ladies, I'm a lurker who was going to do an intro but I read the UO thread first so I guess I'll just jump in ;)
We are going away for the weekend (leaving Sat and coming home Sun so it won't be very long) None of my wetbags have zippers.  My daughter isn't on solids yet so there isn't a lot of stinky poo, but there is some stink.  Any advice on ways to keep the smell contained for the weekend (especially in the car on the way home)
My husband want's to just use disposables for convenience, but it gives her a rash so I don't want to, but if it smells all the way home I'll never hear the end of it lol
Thanks!

  • Can you just twist the top of the wet bag? That will close it off but also allow a small amount of air flow

I can twist it, that's what I usually do, but then it's only for an afternoon usualy so I wasn't sure.  Thanks!

I bring along a large cloth shopping bag that has handles. I put my pail liner in there and then hang it wherever it will get airflow but be out of DS's reach. Sometimes in a closet or on a coat hook somewhere. Then I just twist the top shut when we put it in the car.
