Anyone already carrying really high??

So - this is a result of my stomach feeling really hard a couple weeks ago. Still does if I eat anything dairy or fried really. I know I've gained a little weight already too (hello arms) :(

Question is - anyone else already carrying really high? I know it is not baby yet b/c uterus is almost to belly button, but people come up and rub my entire belly, b/c it's out there!!! Also - I had a really short torso, maybe that has something to do w/ it?

I don't know what I'm having yet either, so it's fun to guess still :) I think the saying is if your carrying high, it's a girl, low is a boy?

  • Oh also -- my hubby said to me last night, seems like your growing more up and down, then out right now. AGAIN W/ the complex thing. Not too sure how to take that :|

  • My belly looks pretty similar to your's.  It's pretty hard above the belly button but still kind of squishy below.

  • I am carrying quite high, at the A/S the tec was quite suprised to have to go above the belly button to find much of baby. Wondering where all my organs have shifted to? I know that my already tiny lungs (holds half the air what a normal female holds) are feeling squished already.
  • Mine is the same.  High up but I know baby isn't up there yet...lol
  • I love love your bump.  Mine is really low, which - given that the lower belly chub I already had can no longer be sucked in - is also giving me a complex haha.  I'm already assuming I'm having a boy, although I don't actually believe how you carry necessarily has much to do with it (but you're right on the saying!).

I say flaunt it!  You're beautiful and so is that bump!
  • Thank you @happytobehere I always need to hear that. Hard to not be self conscious!

  • I'm 17.5 weeks today & had an appointment this morning. They said that my uterus was where they would typically see it 3 weeks from now. But not of concern as I am vertically challenged so it goes further up faster than the average woman due to the lack of space. SO that was a very enlightening piece of info! Got through a whole pregnancy before without them ever mentioning anything like this
