What did you use to help fade the c-section scar? Thanks for your input!

I never used anything the first time and in a year it faded to light whiteish pink and thin as a pencil line. Looked pretty good. This time its a bit bigger and bio oil was recommended to me so i will try it.

I've been using olive oil, and trying to massage the area every day.

There is some good info on c-section care here

    Yes, what PP said.
It'll eventually fade to the point where you can't even notice it.

Not a thing. My first one was practically invisible in just a few months. The second one is in a natural crease (sexy!), so it's hard to spot too, even after only 4 weeks.

My OB said those creams don't work, and that your genetics will determine what happens with your scar.  With my first one, I had terrible keloiding, so my OB prescribed steroid strips to help the keloids go down.  It worked a bit, but when I had my second cesarean, they cut out all of the keloid tissue anyway.
