I'm a bit bummed, as being preggo, I miss drinking Chai Tea Lattes from Starbucks - I'd rather have this concoction than coffee. I'm not planning on having any caffeinated drinks during the pregnancy; what are some of your favorite drinks at Starbucks? Any suggestions?

Just a heads up that decaf coffee is not caffeine free. Decaf coffee has a small amount of caffeine in it, and so does decaf tea (unless it is herbal). If you want to make sure you're drinking a "true" caffeine-free beverage, you'll need to look for the label "caffeine-free".
The starbucks creme frappuccinos are caffeine free since they are a creme base. They are LOADED with a ton of sugar so be sure not to indulge too often.

My IF blog
I tried cutting out caffeine and went about a month...but I felt terrible even after the withdrawal headaches went away. So now, I do one cup of half caff in the AM and then I'll have another later in the day if I need it (most days I don't) and I feel way better.
Or
Tall chi tea latte (approx 70mg caffeine for a grande)
Maybe once or twice a week. I

It's caffeine free but the herbs that make it up include hibiscus, a no-no according to Dr. Google. I would be drinking it daily but with a family history of issues (infertility, miscarriage, premature birth) I am being extra cautious.
Ah yes, Dr Google. Hibiscus can cause uterine irritability if consumed in large quantities. A single Starbucks iced tea would not fall into the category of "large quantity". If we are being extra cautious please also stay away from oragasims as those also cause contractions/irritability.

No burn felt, I know Dr Google is not the most reliable (and often quite unreliable). I Googled it in a moment before I was able to consult my doc and since have just avoided it. My doc tends to say "don't take it" if there is any risk at all, I guess liability reasons....?
My doc said to get calories however I can, including milkshakes (which frapps are). She actually said it's better to have full sugar ginger ale rather than sugar free bc they still don't know what artificial sweeteners do in utero. I have a free pass to drink all of the stuff I have been avoiding for 15 years! BTW, I lost 6 lbs 1st trimester, so that might be part of it. But there are plenty of caffeine free options that aren't terrible for you. It's common sense.
