OK. So I really love the name Horatio, nickname Harry. But I see real potential for unfortunate nicknames. What do you think? Keep it for the next family dog or legitimate sibling for Malcolm and Desmond?

Yeah, that's one. I had also thought of whore. It doesn't help that I am pretty sure my DH is trying very hard to make every name suggested in to a dirty word. Ramona becomes Ra Moaaaaan Ah. Yeah, he might still be 12.

Whore and Ratty popped to mind, with a lingering "there's something dirty that I'm missing..."  Fellatio - yep that's it.

Good name for a pet.  (I REALLY should keep it in mind.  I'm a C. S. Forrester fan, and we do literature names for our animals.)

I love your taste in boy names!

I immediately think of Horatio from Hamlet before anything else.  I think it's a cool name and I actually don't think it would lead to teasing.  This comes from the fact my brother used to call himself that in grade school/jr. high because he thought it sounded cool.  (it is not anywhere close to his actual name)

I like Horatio.  I don't think it fits in particularly well with your sibset though.
