Our LO is Griffin Haines B---. Finn for nickname and Haines was my grandfathers middle name and we like the sound of it. I would use it as a first name but DH doesn't want to go that far.

@bennikki‌ My Charlie was Charlie Brown for his first Halloween too. When he was a baby we called him Charlie Bucket (the main kid from Willy Wonka) as a joke and now he's almost 2yrs old and that's the nickname that stuck. Ha. We're going with Violet for this girl... which happens to be one of the little girls in the movie too. I'm hoping people don't put that together!

Our American bulldog is named Lucy. We had her before we had Charlie and I never thought about the Charlie/Lucy reference until after he was born.

We're still figuring it out. Team Green here, but in our top choices:

Caitlin or Erin or Skylar (middle name we want an R for my Grandma, but haven't chosen one yet - my niece is Riley, which we love, but don't want to repeat, so may be Rose or Renee).

Boys names have been tougher as my DH is very particular on this and doesn't want anything that he thinks sounds country club - whatever that is .... Right now Aiden, Duncan, Zach (not sure if we'll do Zachary), Jason, Sean and Logan are at the top of the list. (Middle name possibly Connor or Reed or something with an R).

We're not 100% certain, but most likely will name our son Ryan Jake. Ryan is after DH's cousin who was very close to him growing up and passed away suddenly at age 22. Also, my father's name is Reid, which starts with the same letter and has the same number of letters as Ryan, so I thought they were kind of similar. Jake is DH's middle name, as well as the middle name of his father (who actually goes by Jake) and grandfather (deceased).

Evelyn Marie was in our top 3 for baby girl names, it is my maternal grandmothers name & my middle name is Marie also!

My middle name is also Marie and my great grandmothers name. I never met her, but my dad adored her and he loves babies so I thought it was fitting.

There are some really good names on this board! We are totally on the fence with names. I think we have two top contenders right now and they are Eli or Emmett. No clue what we are going to do about a middle name! Such a big decisions!

I know our name is not popular, but we love it.

Baby girl's name is Lorelei Isabel _______.  Isabel is after my grandmother that recently passed away, we told my dad on Father's Day.

We are still discussing names for our baby girl but so far we agree on Bryn(n) for a first name and still working on a middle name. Possibly Olivia or Victoria? We both like it with only 1 'n' but from all the name websites I have seen, it is a boy spelling.

We were so sure it was going to be a girl that we didn't have any ideas when we found out we were having a boy.

After scouring websites and each making lists and comparing we narrowed it down. Then tried out how they all sounded and whether DS2 reacted. Also, whether DS1 could say the name.

We settled on Connor Joseph.

We are naming our little girl Norah. We aren't sure on a middle name but are leaning towards Ann or Rose. I love all the names on here. There aren't any that make me cringe! Haha

Great post! We are team green and have a short list for girls, no ideas for boys (picky DH!). We chose Ethan last time, but it isn't a fav for either of us now. Girl front runners are Madeline, Nora/Cora, Lillian, and another I can't remember.. DD1 is Gwen. We will likely go with a few options like last time and decide after baby is born.

We are team green this time around. Last time we found she was a girl and she immediately had a name - Philippa Morgan (Pippa) we agree on Ruby, Lilah, Leo and Henrik middle names Michelle or Michael. Although I like Ruby Michael for a girl. We will wait and see what he/she looks like before naming. Totally different this time around. I might make a last minute change but now that I've started thinking about her as Caroline, I'm loving it. It's fun to share with you guys because we've decided not to tell anyone in our real lives so we don't get a bunch of negativity that could sway our decision.

We aren't telling anyone until after our little girl is born.  I'm a bit worried that everyone is just going to think of the book/movie but we picked it awhile before all the movie hype started.

Baby girl is going to be named Hazel Grace.   

Hopefully by October people won't make TFioS as the only connection to the name.  We really love it.

We're set on Sydney for our baby girl.  DH likes Sydney Grace and I'm cool with that.  So that's what I'm sticking to for now...

Late to the game but I'm in love with the name we picked for our baby girl. Her name is Elizabeth Grace.

We're opting for Ellie as a nickname in place of Lizzie. We wanted names with biblical roots and its actually hard to find a decent sounding girls name in the Bible haha but once we decided, we loved it
