Best Cloth Diaper Trial?

I want to give cloth diapering a trial, my DD is now 9 months old.  And I'm thinking of using cloth for all except early morning when she normally makes her daily poopy.  

What are your favorite, and least favorite Cloth Diapering Trial Services?

I have tried reading reviews for the past 2 days and now may be more confused then before. And have reached my limit of chasing around my crawling and standing 9 mo old as I try to read blog after blog... Im afraid without help on making a decision I will never get around to ordering them.  So PLEASE HELP.. 

should I do the preselected trial? of customized? and if I customize, what diapers do you suggest?? and any other tips are welcome!! Thank You..

I think it's a good idea to try different types of diapers as well as different brands. If there's a trial that allows you to do that, that's the way I would go. Or, you can do more than one trial.

I did Jillian's Drawers' trial. I just used it as a starting point. I also used their return policy to try out a few other diapers and watched their used diapers page for deals on diapers that I liked or wanted to try.

The diapers that work best for you will depend on what fits your child (and fit can change, so it's a good idea to have several different brands in your stash, in case you need to temporarily take a few out of the rotation when you are in between snap settings on one brand), what works for your laundry setup, and what your budget allows.

Some popular diapers are: BumGenius 4.0, Thirsties (pocket), Blueberry Simplex, Best Bottom, Grovia, Rumparooz, and Green Mountain Diapers.

I did the same thing pp mentioned, but we used the Diaper Junction trial. I chose my brands from some I had heard of. If you call, they are super helpful.

I did the sweetbottoms trial. I like it because it lets you try a bunch of different styles--all in ones, all in twos, pockets, fitteds, prefolds, covers, etc. They don't let you trial all the brands, but you can try all the bum genius styles, blueberry, grovia, rumparooz, and thirsties. I think it was good for knowing what style I would like best.

I ended up doing Jillian's Drawers'... I had been truing to make a decision for weeks now, but kept thinking there might be something better and was always trigger shy... but I forced myself to just hit the checkout button.  I feel good about my decision.  I did add a GioVia to the cart to try out also.
