Low hemoglobin, anyone else?

We found out today LO has low hemoglobin. I know to increase iron rich foods and LO's Dr. recommended polyvitasol with iron. Problem with that is LO pukes every medicine up, that is going to be a huge fight everyday. I am still currently mixing 2oz of formula with his bottle which I was about to cut out but now I'm thinking to keep doing it. Anybody find a easy way to increase iron?

Re: Low hemoglobin, anyone else?

  • I just asked this last week! :)  @cl8badb told me Cheerios!  I had no idea.  Smoothies are supposed to be good but I've yet to trick my kids into drinking any of them.

Oh sorry! Last week I was out a lot with a sick baby. Ill look back for it ;)

I now remember seeing something but thought it was about an adult with it. I know it's much harder to get a baby to eat steak and dark leafy greens!

  • I'll start doing more Cheerios those he will eat!

  • Ha, no worries, I wasn't like "Duh, I JUST asked this" :)  Quinn isn't a fan of many meats but he seems to like meatballs so those are in rotation now and the Cheerios were an awesome surprise.
